my insurance money has come through so I am looking to buy a bike real soon, I cant seem to find a race or club to chat to or try bikes so I am after some input from yourselves.
I have narrowed it down to either the On One Inbred 29er race or the Haro Mary XC, both geared, both steel, haro has sus forks inbred rigid carbon forks- also Haro £200 cheaper!
any input gratefully received.

I've got nothing really useful - I haven't tried either. I almost bought an Inbred and am a big fan of On-One in general. The Mary's are really well reviewed though. So, in short....no help at all I'm afraid.

They have very similar geometry and spec's to be honest. Not much to separate them.
Dont know much about the Haro's fork. But if its decent, then that would be my choice.

I'd go with the On-One.
Also check out the Ragley TD:1. Frame only, looks sweet.

Fitted. Feel pretty good. Still bedding in obviously but already feel pretty strong. Only bad news is that I seem to have picked up the infamous Avid turkey-gobble.

I'll have a gander cheers, they are single speed aren't they?
-
• #1097
its currently set up for single speed but can take a cassette too.
I will probably be taking the spacers and sprocket for myself.

• #1098
Ok, fair enough. How much were you thinking? I'm in Nottingham so they will probably have to be posted.

I love 29ers since 2005,
can I get a prize?
If my brake arrives by tomorrow then yes. How're your tires going?
