36 mile an hour average by my estimate. It's a recovery ride, so that seems fine...
may have overestimated something somewhere.

Not a problem-
Me and howard are meeting Priory lane entrance to RP at 2:30.
I'll be on the white CAAD5 (geared) with mudguards.@Howard- I can't find my chain tool for the fixed...
Pace is aiming for 18mph average.
Re-group on hill-tops, etc...@ Santino- enjoy. Most of it is 6pt's.
Sunday morning will be as fast as I can manage...
May throw in a saturday morning as well, depends how fresh I feel. -
• #1220
Cool. Will be on a muddy black and red eddy merckx, black lycra.
-
• #1221
Well, this is going to be wet and windy.
See you both in 30. -
• #1222
Turned out to be really lovely.
LHL and Howard was very nice to meet you.
How Howard did all that fixed I have literally no idea. Excellent work.
I can only apologise for my anti-social fender. The bit must have fallen off on the way over.On the note of the home-made Embrocation (Vaseline and Cayenne pepper for those interested)- it reactivated in the shower and my legs are on fucking fire!
So new recipe involves making a paste out of the cayenne first, and mixing that with the vaseline. -

Good to meet you both too gents. Well lead Eyebrows, and a really good route. Feel utterly ruined now, so you both must be quick. Well done :)
Apols for the impromptu Jelly Baby stop but dang I was hungry, and only Bassett's finest would suffice.

Was good to meet you both, as well.
Pretty wrecked just now, but a really nice ride- gonna try it again soon, sans garmin.
No worries about the fender- got a nice chat with a pretty lady on the way home, who wanted to know where all the mud had come from. And that thunderstorm....

As above- sunday route stays the same.
Leaving Putney at 0700, Camberwell at 0730.
As fast as possible. (20+)Monday's route is going to change slightly and involve a much earlier start (0700) to try and beat the shit weather forecast.
(will again be at full tilt.)
Or maybe Tuesday.
I am keen for tomorrow; weather dependant .. would've loved to exchange bikes for a test ride morgan
