Last minute rides

Anyone West / South West want to head into Surrey Hills tomorrow? Geared, 25km/h (ish).

What time?

Any time, really - am thinking in the morning.

I can be in surbiton after 9am, would be geared too. How long would you be looking to be out? I need to be back for 2ish.

Planning to ride the first 25 miles of the DD route tomorrow and then back home to make about 60 miles all in. Pretty much just cycling up to touch outside the M25 and then turn around and cycle back. Might be a little on the dull side but whatever.

I managed to hit the big pothole near the bottom of Ranmore? which is signed with a handwritten effort hanging from a tree. I was too busy looking at it instead of the road. Pinch flat but stayed upright and no damage done.

Setting off out in a bit, going to be going to some evans and some other shops. Need a freewheel, chain and random junk to finish off a bike.

Heading out from streatham hill, down into clapham to that evans, into london along the cycle super dieway probably to another evans. Not normally such an evansfag but they listed what I need as instock online.

Going to start riding from east/central up to Epping, to Chigwell, then back down 2/3 times a week for the rest of the summer (haha!). Leaving at around 6pm - 26kph.

Any interest? Would be nice to have new friends :(

Possibly. Fixed or geared? Is the traffic not horrible out that way at that time?

I would be geared sadly. Normally pretty ok actually. I rode it at that exact time for a BtoB a week or two ago, and rode it frequently last season with no issues compared to a sunday club run.

Kentish jaunt this eve (if the weather holds out), 7:30(ish) from Elmers End (ish). 90 minutes @ 30km/h (geared).

All week days or weekends too?

Normally do a club run on Sundays, so could possibly throw in a Saturday if people fancied.

I'd be up for some Epping/Chigwell loops, I'm in Dalston so could meet you on the way out.

Sounds good - might tag along on at least a few depending on how last-minute they are as I'd need to make sure I brought the right bike to work in the morning!

Working till 6 in Croydon so won't make the weekdays but yeah weekends would be good. Want to ride that way anyway to get a vague idea what the first bit of the DD will be like.

Edit - Garmin 510 should be here soon(is in the post) so testing that too.

Can't do tonight, will do Regent's laps tomorrow but interested for Wednesday, could meet you outside Lea Valley Ice centre croft?

Will pass through there, so no issues. Ill start from Limehouse, but can equally go from Canary Wharf or other places on the route...

Glorious day out there today, so a definite Kent jaunt this evening if anyone's keen.

Leaving St Pauls about 6pm to head down Embankment, Wandsworth Bridge Road, lap or two of Richmond Park - might stop in the Roebuck overlooking the river just out of Richmond Gate en route - back to Clapham/Brixton

Croydon to Clapton and then back home to Streatham after work tonight/tomorrow pending pm about when I can pick up some cranks.

My original plan was/is Box hill but keen to avoid surrey .. I will leave in next 20 mins or so from central; whats your stat?
