Did not say in my previous post,
@ James and Em, thank you for being with him, taking time out of your lives to spend time with him, its obvious that he appreciated it and I hope that when I finally pass I have friends like you near me. You are beautiful people and should feel proud.

Just read the latest on this and what a shame, Fiddy will be missed as he was one of life's true gents and for someone so small a mountain of a man who made me feel welcome at my first tentative visits to West's.
I am speechless though at the selfless deeds that various people here have done in keeping Paul going by visiting him and helping him out as much as they could and being his family, he must have appreciated and loved the fuss. Hats off to everyone.

I'll always remember Fiddy for the smile on his face, glint in his eye and (more often than not) drink in his hand. A warm, kind hearted guy who always had time to chat and make you feel welcome. Rest in peace Paul. Big props to everyone who took time to go down to the hospital and visit Paul over the past weeks and to those who went the extra mile with close care and attention they gave to Paul.

i've been delaying reading this but i still cried. we raised a glass to fiddy on new years eve, and then got absolutely smashed and rode home...it's what fiddy would have done!
paul, you were one of the first people i met on the forum, and you always had a smile and kind words for me. im glad i got to spend some time with you towards then end and know that it must have meant alot to have so many people around you. you are a legend and will be sorely missed by many of us.
to em, dancing cunt, pigfarmer, dropout and everyone else who went above and beyond, i don't know how you did it. you are absolute diamonds and it is a testament to the big man that he inspired such strength and commitment in his friends.

heres something I was thinking about, I saw you can get the rubber wrist bands like the yellow Livestrong ones made up in batches of 200, how about a band made up in the world champion colours or a carbon effect one,
They work out about 50p each to get made, but id be happy paying a couple of quid for one for the old scrote ;)
We could put the money towards his funeral or if thats covered cancer research? -

Paul,
Thank you for always having the time to have a chat whenever I saw you at Wests or Souths.
Much love.

Really sad to hear this, RIP Paul. From the nights in the pub, to fixing punctures on night rides, and stopping to help people pick you up after a crash, there's been some good memories.
James/Em et al, you should all be very proud of yourselves for the way you supported Paul. Thank you.
