I forgot to give a mention to James and Em and all the others who did such an amazing job of making Pauls last few weeks as comfortable and pleasant as it was possible for them to be.
Living with Em i saw first hand just how many hours he spent with Paul and how little rest he was getting inbetween...as has been said, you guys humbled us all too...i know Pauls passing will be harder for you guys than any of us will ever understand. This is one of my favourite songs and seems more apt than ever right now...especially these lyrics...
'Or down you fall' by Gil Scott Heron.
I sail out on my paper ship
The sea is made of fire
I ride my horse of nuts and bolts
We're made to never tireThe world is just a simple circle
I've got to keep on turning, yeah
I've got to keep on turning
'Til I fallDown to the top of a mountain
Inside a hollow stone
I pretend that I'm an island, yeah
Instead of flesh and boneThe world is just a simple circle
And it keep on turning, yeah
And it keep on turning
You've got to. -

Only just saw this terrible news. I only met Fiddy a couple of times during my time in London but in that short amount of time I saw what a much loved and well respected person he was. Thoughts go out to all his friends and family. RIP Paul.

Met him a couple of time, he behaved as if we've been friends for years.
I cannot express my sadness of not being able to talk to him again.
50/14 ride soon.

I'm pretty much lost for words at this. RIP little guy.
I completely echo what Scott said, whenever I'm on the bike and things get hard, I will be thinking of Mr. 14.
I will miss you a great deal Paul, you made a big impression on me and I do not say that lightly. You were one of the most polite and graceful people I've had the pleasure of knowing.

When the weather seems 'too bad'...and the hills 'too steep',
When my lungs are aching, and my legs are getting weak,
When my mind starts telling me i'll never reach the top,
The thought that keeps me going is...Would Fiddy REALLY stop?We may have lost a hero, but we've gained a legend.
spot on, scott.
i've just laughed and cried heartily reading everyone's comments. i wish we could have the biggest group hug ever. ohh paul, look what you did to us, this silly band of hooligans just loves you so much!

I've seen a lot of death and I've been to too many funerals and I've often thought, if only we could have gathered around our friend when he was still alive, shown them how much they were loved
Ive been having that conversation all xmas about someone else. James, Em and everyone else who took the time to visit paul and show him that, deserve all our respect.
All hail emperor 50/14!
Hail Fiddy. RIP Paul, mate..
