I don't remember anything after 17:30, and I lost my d-lock, other than that it was a great service/wake and a fitting send-off to Paul.

Thanks again all those who did the hard work. It was emotional at times but it was a lovely way to send off a friend who was held in such high regard.

A few things:

Did Mack get home ok? just seen above so good news, john I can remeber who but i think someone may have got your lock.

Jim I hope you're ok and the road bike has lived to ride again.

But most importantly did anyone get a photo/movie image of Gerald serving chips? Gerald superbe!

Anyway - what an amazing, tiring, uplifting, emotional day. I haven't laughed and cried so much in ages. Massive thanks to all who made it happen, it was a pleasure helping out.

the epic TT back south was awesome, I'm really not used to riding that fast - and apart from that dodgy HGV moment it was a lot of fun. Was great when a load of other southies pitched up at the Effra as well. Stelle you crack me up - wtf were we rapping whilst we were trying to unlock the bikes?

What a great send off for Fiddy. The service was very good and I thought the minister did an excellent job. Good to catch up with so many friends. Paul would have been proud.
Special thanks to those who waited for ages outside for us to faff about with bikes and clothes in the freezing cold. It was a good ride back North. I don't think any of us were totally trolleyed though
