Well, it does seem as if the best advice to the OP is to split it, as there seem to be some nice components on it, and the combination doesn't really work--I can't put my finger on it why, though. The white arrospook, the shape of the drops, the colour of the chain, and the Knog light (which Shirley isn't an integral component of the bike)--in fact, I don't really like the whole colour scheme of blue, white, and orange. Just IMHO.

It's, like, a totally anti-catholic bike. You might as well play a flute and bang on about King Billy the whole time while riding it.

Why, why, why declare your bike as beautiful?
Whether it is, or isn't makes no difference. The very fact you started this joke with such a statement will do you no favours. It's a bike you built up, and paid a fortune for no doubt, but it's worth is something very, very different.
Why would anyone want to pay for your creative license?? It seems the only demand is that you to split it up.
Heart Breaking to hear as an Artist I'm sure, but any fool could spend £2000 on the finest oil paints, brushes and canvas and still create a shit painting.
I like the fact you can't buy Artistic and Creative Flare, your bike is a grand trophy to that, and thats all. Split it up and move along, there's a queue forming.dibs on the Cake and the cranks tho..

Also this should have been posted on Fri afternoon not Monday moring.
I think you are pretty off with those figures
You would get nearer £200 for the spok - i sold mine for over £200 , and you should be able to get £150 for the cranks/chain ring.
Rear wheel you could easily get more than 50
Considering if you went into BLB/14 and went for a build like that you would not get much change out of 2 grand, i think you would be able to get close to what you want on eBay, as their are plenty of people out there who would think this build is the nuts

Yeah but if you bought this set-up in BLB you'd be missing out on the fantastic customer service.

I think you're right about some of those price guesstimations he made but regardless, he'll never sell the whole bike for the amount of each part combined. Split & sell is always the way to go with a basically new and little used bike like this.
Either that or as you say, eBay.

Agreed. £5 for two tyres is a bit of a joke too. Easily get £15 or £20 for 'em. To me those are the lowest prices things would go for not the highest.

Do people really go and spaff over a grand on a 'build' at BLB or wherever and then not really ride it? Honestly. Young people. * goes back to knitting*
even more so at 14 bikes.
