I ate two taste the difference Sainsbury's ones on Tuesday.. I'm not even mad. Seal officially broken.

We got our first 6-pack on Sunday: Saino's TTD. Pastry was a bit too hard for my liking, and the filling was very sweet. Plus they were very high, but the filling only went half way so the whole thing collapsed in on itself when you bit it. 6/10.

Forgot about this thread! My seal was broken long ago; on to my fourth box of standard Sainsbury's deep fill as of this week's delivery. Just getting my eye in before going for the better options.

This just in: Tesco Finest vastly superior to Sainsbury's TTD.

Filling is gooeyer with more citrus and booze overtones. Pastry is softer, crumbly and noticeably more buttery.

Greggs > all other mince pies.

Taste so good. Its like they replace the gluten with some kind of magic.

I folded before December! Just bought my first half-dozen from Greggs. Delicious as always, but my local Greggs seems to horribly underfill them :(

You Greggs evangelists had better be right about this. Do I get the individual ones or a 6-pack? Is one made in-store and one bought in?

They did 6 packs last year.

Are these Greggs ones good enough to justify me leaving the house in these arctic conditions?

and like the guardian, did not like, even though the independent has them as their top buy
