    **Greggs

    The Rest**

  • Gregs? You filthy little bugger

  • By a country mile

  • Gregs? You filthy little bugger

I didn't beleive it either 'til i tried 'em.
As far as shop-bought ones go, they are the bollocks.

  • Greggs:

Public perception = greasy steak bakes and sausage rolls

Reality = top twat mince pies and baguettes

  • top twat! he he

    it's true though

  • Greggs:

Public perception = greasy steak bakes and sausage rolls

Reality = top twat mince pies and baguettes and bacon rolls

    ftfy

  • Oh shit. It's that time of year again.

    Greggs. I'm coming at you.

  • I just smashed my way through 2x pies from Gail's (I know, wanker right?).
    I give them a: 7/10

  • Greggs? Even I haven't been into one of those since 2005.

    But, the forum has spoken.

wonders if they do apple pies

  • oh man I need a pie

  • The first thing I do when I get I land in Heathrow on the 1st of December is eat a mince pie. Looking forward to it.

Gregg's is the best. Though has anyone mentioned that they are also pretty cheap too?

  • Aldi: Provider of all the good stuff - cheap cycling kit and quality mince pies (apparently)

  • has anyone started with the mincie pies yet? December 1st onwards surely?!

  • I was smashing the back doors off them a couple of weeks back, taking a break now till Dec, got serious fatigue

  • slow and steady.

I will be fuelling my rides form Dec 1st onwards solely with mince pies.

  • 7 down so far, still 5 weeks to go, I reckon at 10 a week, so near 60 this year...

  • Started last weekend on Asda's Extra Special Luxury Mince Pies. Decent amount of well-balanced sweet/spicy filling, with nice pastry, crumbly, but doesn't fall apart too easily. 7/10

  • ^ just had two of those fuckers with a cuppa - lovely!

  • couldn't wait

  • I wish I'd saved one of the two I bought earlier for my 2.30 coffee.

Gail's were doing a 'deal' of 5 mince pies for £5. I pointed out that this was in no way, a deal.

  • Someone at work has proclaimed they "have a lot mincemeat" and they "make a decent pastry".

I hope to fuck this means mince pies at work.

  • sounds like an empty brag to me

  • Seriously. Hard work to beat store purchased pies in my eyes.

  • Stores don't tend to do puff pastry ones though. Please educate me if I am wrong.
