I went through a phase of doing this when I was skint because they will chuck you a fiver or tenner in vouchers no questions asked if you're nice about it

Give one of the Percy Ingle bakeries a go. They bake every night.

Greggs not getting much praise here.
I might make my own this year. -
• #1656
You can kind of ignore those, though. Why would baker Alice Fevronia have the same tastes as you or me?
-
• #1657
Greggs one is sweet this year. Pstry is good. As always.

First set: Iceland. Can confirm they’re good!
Next set: M&S

Might as well put this whole thread on ignore then! :D

I have M&S pies. I have infected the whole of Staines with 8-day plague in the process of walking in and I’m pretty sure I blacked out momentarily on Staines Bridge, but fuck ‘em. Reference pics. M&S pie on the left, Iceland one on the right.
Yeah, M&S is a good pie. Slightly more orange zesty than the Iceland one with a hint of booze. It’s good.

The national expert, Mrs B, has given the word on the three (3!) mincers of the day: #1 Co-OP standard, #2 Iceland, #3 Co-OP luxury. Just never accept her homemade, I make garden walls with them....

Just gave the gf's toddler his first ever mincer (Gregg's, obvs) - he howled when he realised he could only have one. Much pride.

Advent Sunday, and lo, the season formally opens as mincers come with clouds descending (for me today - Morrison's in-store bakery 'the best', 8/10).
Good luck, all.

went to Redbourne Mill near St Albans today. £4 for 6 is on the pricey end of things but my god are they good!
-
• #1665
Are they ' 6 in one sitting' good?

Will grab some Morrison bakery ones tomorrow, and see how they are this year. They've been just the right combo ( for me ) of large, well-filled and buttery in the past
-

4 in one. they're pretty big.
means 2 for breakfast so I'm thankful for that
-

Konditor and Cook are the best I reckon. One of the saddest things I lost when I went vegan, they're amazing.
They should be tho at SlXTEEN quid for 12..

Good point. Being 'stuck' with Greggs vegan mince pies at £1.75 for six means I have money for whisky.
Some prankster put that mincer through the oven twice?
