Vegan butchers: Could one be opening on your high street?

Not entirely sure where 'hot dogs' fit into that.

So, do we have recommendations on shower gel? I've been using Source for years because it says 'Vegan' prominently on the bottle (and the minty one makes your balls tingle), but when it says 'each bottles contains 7,927 mint leaves', that doesn't sound very good on the sustainability side - it just sounds pretty wasteful.

Lush is the crème de la crème of good stinking shower gel! Dr Bronners is my go to at the minute (go for eucalyptus if you want tingly knackers). It's very thin so lasts much much longer with a shower puff/sponge etc.

Mint is mainly leaves and it's better than plastic or oil leaves, you should probably get some bar of hippy stuff but my skin is a wimp so I stick with what didn't make me itch for hours.

Honesty Cosmetics for shower gels and stuff like that.

It also sounds like it was made with slave labor if they count 7927 mint leaves for each bottle.

Has anyone got suggestions for pizza with vegan cheese/toppings etc in south east London? 400 Rabbits was my go to but they've changed their cheese to something fairly minging recently!

I’m flogging my one off vegan Carradice super c audax that was made for me on request along with it’s QR bagman as I don’t use them due to carbon rail saddles nowerdays. I’d prefer they went to a vegan so anyone here intrested?

Popped into Wing Yip (the Manchester one) this week and got a load of the satay skewers and the cod fillet type thing (both made by 'TKC Vegetarian'). Forgot how good that stuff is - fish & chips, and Goan-style fish curry on the menu very soon.
The Wing Yip in Croydon stocks them too, but i don't think the Cricklewood branch does.

Another recent fave has been a simple spaghetti and cannellini beans.
Lots of olive oil in a frying pan, chuck in some garlic, fresh basil/thyme/rosemary/whichever herbs you like, cook that on low for a few minutes, drain a can of beans and add them in as well as a slice of lemon (remove before mixing/eating). Cook for as long it takes the spaghetti to be done. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together, maybe some more olive oil at the end for good measure.

If you want to skip the trip to Croydon, the Longdan on Hackney Road (not the one about 30 seconds away on Kingsland Rd!) has tonnes of veggie meats now - frozen, tinned, dehydrated, deli slices - as well as other veggie and vegan substitutes (vegan fish sauce, etc.).

Do you add a full tin of spaghetti per person?

I've only got hoops or alphabet in? Which should I use?
