Yeah, but I only follow it roughly, I slow fried the onions a bit first as I think I read that in another similar recipe and I chucked done shallots in because that's all I had the first time and I liked it, there's a carrot in there too.

It's definitely a good way to make a nice saucey curry quickly.

The grrl made this without the chicken and yoghurt and it was rad. That is all.

I've used plant milk with a splash of cider vinegar before.

Ground flax seed and water left to turn to goop for 10 minutes can be used as "egg wash" replacement before breadcrumbs too.

Thanks for this tip.

No worries, ground chia would work as well.

Anyone tried the Nuzest protein powders? Looking for something not horrible tasting that is easy on the stomach (low fodmap).

This week in Rob drinks too much and makes too much curry; Aloo methi and made up cauliflower and butternut squash thing with further yellow rice and naan. Cooked far too much, took far too long and got somewhat too drunk.

And nothing had enough chilli but I don't get to cook for my own tastes and still my daughter complains, the nobhead. At least she likes bread and rice.

All my kids are like that. I stopped adding any chili while I cook, but started adding chopped fresh chilies to my plate.
Yellow Habaneros are my favorite, great fruit flavour and a good punch. Carolina reaper were disappointing taste wise, but a nice peppery kick in the throat.

These are so insanely small! Bought them with an online shop as they were discounted, and couldn’t believe how little each pot is. Tasty, but barely a mouthful!

They are ludicrous. But also delicious. I tend to put one away as thinking fuel while I work out what real dessert I’m gonna have

It doesn't say if Kwasi Kwarteng is vegan himself, but government endorsement isn't a bad thing:
Mind you, as per the 'for people, animals, and the environment' slogan that the Vegan Society used for a while, the environment is very much the third priority in that. (I was glad to see that Vanessa Hudson et al. are using the slogan as part of the Animal Welfare Party's campaign in London.)

Sorry, neither were the third or fourth plates, or the leftovers I had for lunch today, or the final leftovers I'm having for lunch tomorrow.
Same! I make the vegan maakhni gravy and saag, always in freezer as 'base'.
I rarely use coconut in those but use coconut milk to make a chickpea curry that bangs.
