I had some amazingly gross vegan bailys yesterday.
Tasted like cat food. I am happy to send on to another vegan with less discerning tastes than me.

Baileys like the drink? How would it taste like cat food?
I used to make blancmange with baileys like vodka jelly but creamy. I haven't (probably wisely) done it for years but I'm now tempted to try again. -

I thought he'd had his account deleted?

fnar fnar, Mr And.
This is the stuff
J said it was awful, and I just didn't believe it could be that bad.
It is. I don't even think adding more cream and coffee to it could save it.

mmcarthy. He's an expert.

• #782
Where did you get it from? I reckon it'd work as a baking ingredient or something.
-
• #783
No, it wouldn't. The whole point of baking is to cook a collection of things that are really bad for you and create something truly wonderful. That, according to Nhatt, is just really bad.

• #784
Hmmm, just sounds like a challenge.

I don't think I've ever drunk non-vegan Baileys. I don't like mixes quite generally.

Nhatt, I think I'll take it. I'll probably come into your shop soon to get that saddle i was looking at, i'll PM in advance of my next west end trip and maybe you could bring the bottle in? If someone else wants to grab it then no worries.

Has anyone got any brilliant ideas of a weekend that could combine great vegan/sustainable food with camping and cycling??
I'm taking the to-be Mrs Steves away for her birthday soon and although I have a plan, if anyone can suggest something better it'd be great! -

'Vegetarian Britain' could give you destinations if you're after restaurants:

If you're into vegan farming, there are quite a lot vegan-organic farmers around the country. You could try the Vegan-Organic network:
To be honest, I don't really know what individual members do, but you might find a farm that welcomes visitors and has tours about what they do? Perhaps you might also be able to camp somewhere.
It would probably involve a good deal of trip planning, but might be worth it--let us know what you come up with!

Nhatt, I am never in the west end at all. If someone else wants that drink, they can have it...
-
• #794
Trust me, no one wants this drink.
