Where in Berlin are you?

am not in Berlin myself. my vegan g/f is over there for a few days with her mum. they are seeing the Pet Shop Boys on Friday and taking in various other escapes. but yummy food will be figuring big and she is very happy with what i have been able to share from the wealth of knowledge here.

they are staying in Schoneberg

If they happen to be in Neukölln there's a vegan Pizza place called Sfizy Veg in Sonnenallee, which is really good!

The Scottish ones don't contain tallow, but will probably be refused by all machines/most cashiers in London!

Vöner (vegan kebabs plus more junk food) and Zeus Pizza are the two places I always try and go to whenever I'm in Berlin. There's so much good stuff there though.

There's a vegan burger/crepe place on the same road as Sfizy Veg called Let it Be, the burgers are all named after famous vegan musicians and are fantastic.

Recommendations for winter socks? Had a look in a few local bike shops and they were all made with merino wool.

The topshop mens tube socks are awesome, and 3 for £7 or summat. I also like the American apparel knee high ones too. Pretty toasty.

Don't really get the Vöner hype.. been there two times, it wasn't bad but not great either.
