Really recommend that pizza at Rubys, the donuts and probably Voner if you've not been before.

If you're there at the weekend and particularly hungry, the all you can eat brunch at Viaskos is definitely worth checking out.

Legit? https://www.change.org/p/bank-of-england-remove-tallow-from-bank-notes
Why people can't appropriately cite/reference/support their claims when asking for support is beyond me. I tried looking through comments but got to "because I CARE xxx" and gave up.

(Judging by a couple of stories in Private Eye, there are quite a few more reasons to object to plastic banknotes.)

excellent. cheers

Where in Berlin are you?

am not in Berlin myself. my vegan g/f is over there for a few days with her mum. they are seeing the Pet Shop Boys on Friday and taking in various other escapes. but yummy food will be figuring big and she is very happy with what i have been able to share from the wealth of knowledge here.
they are staying in Schoneberg

sweet. i am sure they will be travelling about quite a bit so great to have a vegan pizza suggestion in the mix. thanks!

you're welcome!

The Scottish ones don't contain tallow, but will probably be refused by all machines/most cashiers in London!

Vöner (vegan kebabs plus more junk food) and Zeus Pizza are the two places I always try and go to whenever I'm in Berlin. There's so much good stuff there though.

There's a vegan burger/crepe place on the same road as Sfizy Veg called Let it Be, the burgers are all named after famous vegan musicians and are fantastic.

Ah, thanks, I wonder why:

Now all Scotland has to do is to invade England and all will be well.

Maybe they use all the animal fat for deep-fried mars bars and there's none left for polymer substrates? ;)

Recommendations for winter socks? Had a look in a few local bike shops and they were all made with merino wool.

The topshop mens tube socks are awesome, and 3 for £7 or summat. I also like the American apparel knee high ones too. Pretty toasty.

Don't really get the Vöner hype.. been there two times, it wasn't bad but not great either.

Oh really? I've always really enjoyed it in a super stodgy, junky way.
Eating fish could also be seen as crass. I.e - showing little/no sensitivity to fish / environment.
Logic.
