Tiny bolt in there!
I think end of the through axle would be my idea?
Or it’s been mentioned, a mount that goes on the steerer below the crown race?

Nothing on the back of the bridge?

A bung/expander/star nut (but not a top star nut if it's tapered) up the bottom of the steerer tube which you could fit some kind of mount from?
-
• #2631
That is a great idea. I think it's tapered but I'm sure that something will exist.
-
• #2632
1 1/4” and 1 ½” star nuts are out there so should be able to get something to fit.
-
• #2633
Just need a different star nut, watch for the fork bottoming out and ripping the light off too!

Which one? They have a few versions. Not sure when one would be most versatile.
Any idea if the white one actually red LED. Or white light.
-

They are all weather sealed with 5 year warranty.
The seatpost one have a slightly more delicate fitting, these are available as spares though.
The rack fitting one is my favourite, tiny, simple and just bolts on out the way.
White/Red lens = Red light (edited!)

Cheers mate.
Rack one best then. Maybe zip tie to rear stay. Or sugru

Got the rack mount with red.
Bought a number of different mounting options since as don't always ride with a rack.

Thanks that's good.

No problem, one thing to be aware of;
SON lights are not just a straight LED light, both front and rear have beam patterns to offer the best lighting vision etc. mounting the rear 90deg will lose some of the lights function!

Annoyingly I'm too short and carry a large saddle bag to use this - https://framebuildersupply.com/collections/light-brackets/products/blemished-supernova-e3-schmidt-son-tail-light-brackets-all-sizes

Oh! Did not know that. Will have to take a look.
Although I also use a moon battery light that I can charge in the day. -

White = White. Red = Red.
Are you sure the clear ones give off white light?

Are you sure the clear ones give off white light?
The sites I've seen in the past say they give off a red light. Harris Cyclery for example. Never seen one in the flesh though.

Thanks.
Or one that utilises that bolt on cable guide if you think it’ll be strong enough
