Not strictly speaking true. Some tyres are vegan.
Getting the information of which are compared to which aren't is nigh on impossible though. -

You have some information on the working conditions in pharmaceutical factories?
Pharmaceutical companies are blood sucking, anti-social corporations too. Far worse than Nike in many ways. But the struggle against Nike is a specific, ongoing workers' struggle. It is a righteous struggle, and pointing out the ubiquity of sweatshops, or the nearly-inevitable hypocrisy of people who struggle against sweatshops, misses the point at best, and serves as a justification for the status quo at worst.
For the record, I am currently wearing a union-made shirt, sweatshop-free Swrve jeans, union-made underwear and socks, and sweatshop-made shoes. You can't win 'em all, but giving people shit for trying is really uncool.

i think sven has a point, but to move sideways from pharmaceutical companies. What about the impact of recreational drugs on communities, families, the environment, etc. If you look in any depth at that, it's worth giving all that up too.
