  • It IS a fricking singlespeed.. it only has a chainring, cog and a chain. That is ONE SPEED.

Taking the common use of the term singlespeed to mean freewheel, then all you need to do is swap the cog for a freewheel and you have your precious singlespeed. Sheesh.

    Paypal-only.

  • Mr no bike,

It really doesn´t matter your intentions behind the creation of this thread, it is the creation of retarded threads like this that makes, to the remaining non-nodder cycling community, life a little more difficult. Who on earth cares what it looks like, or if it is wrong? Wrong is to waist precious, delicious forum thread space with "is my hair OK today" type of questions. If you had spent a bit of time going through the Forum you´ld have seen there´s no future/answer to your thread/doubts.

    Retards,
    N

  • why not just HTFU and learn to ride it fixed?

  • My eyes...

  • Yes you can run it as singlespeed, as said before.

Who cares whether it's "wrong" or not, as said before.

Why not just ride it fixed, as said before.

    It this over yet?

Nuknow are you an American? Edit... apparently not. Ruins my theory thank you very much!

And what is that supposed to mean?

  • Platini - you've dropped a digit.

  • I recommend you buy some cake and stop worrying about it.

  • ^ That = Glorious

  • Thank you. I promise never to ask this question again.

  • it doesn't come with a freewheel, and the rear bridge isn't drilled for a brake

so that's a pain in the arse to begin with

either get a grip and ride fixed, or buy something built for purpose is my answer

  • Esteemed peoples.

Apologies if I was not clear in my first post, what I actually meant to say was not, is it technically possible to turn a Bianchi Pista into singlespeed?, more, is it aesthetically, and perhaps morally, wrong to convert to said machine?

Would you good folk look down upon such an act?

I appreciate the warmth and love that flows from this forum and the fair advice you all share daily.

    Regards,

    MR no bike

p.s MR Hippy do you accept cheques?
