Cheers. What do most people go for and what are the advantages of each format?
Anyone? Do most people use their road or track bikes? -

I'm in for this.
I've never been before but reading through previous pages of the thread suggests there is a reasonably even split between fixed and geared.

Did this 2 winters ago and loved it. Always did it fixed but now haz a geared bike so may give that a whirl.
Is it oooooon?

I've got my geared bike too. Any news? When/ how much etc.

Not sure, looking like it might me next week as I know they had to get the tent re-built.
I'm fucking knackered anyway so wouldn't mind an extra week before it starts (HTFU etc.)
Last time I did this it was £2 a pop (i think?!). BARGAIN.

Based on lack of confirmation I'm out, got some work to be doing and as much I want to spin I can't risk the 45 minute round trip if it's not on. Totally down for next week!

Yeah same story - Rich is very keen, think he's going to head down there and see if it's on anyway but I can't be arsed with the trip unless its fo shizzle.

Sorry for the silence! I've been away since Friday. we're not quite ready, the building still needs a little more work before it's fit for turboing. This will definitely be on next week though. Cost tbc, won't be a lot more than whatever it was last time.

Tent? We've had an upgrade...building...with electricity! All labour done by volunteers though, hence the delayed start.

I don't have a turbo, so I'm out of the Casa de Catford turbo session.
Super keen for next week! I need an alternative plan for tonight though, maybe real cycling?

This. And I'm talking Nunhead turbofest, but you're both useless.

Got a spare turbo; I'd take you up on it.

Add a question mark wherever you feel it's most appropriate.

You could bring my spin bike down from Catford. It only weighs about 200kg. Probably strap it to your messenger bag.

Tempting.

Meh, did some ActualCycling instead... too cold - looking forward to next wednesday :)

Going to miss the old tent, which was always much colder and windy er inside than out, with its constantly moving/tilting floor, the random loud distorted music selection, the exploding turbo s, all this added a certain realism to the turbo sessions!

What is the working capacity of PainShedâ„¢?
Where? What time? How long will the session be? How much? How clean does the bike need to be? :s
