Agreed. I can't concentrate for 8 minutes at a time. Optional wattbikes next week. I predict 6pt to top the average watts chart.

I'm thinking tactics here, will try to not be on the bike every day before hand so I actually have something in the legs...
-

Then we can watch the watt bike drain every watt you have out of your body..
-
• #181
But who will get the peak wattage title?
-
• #182
Or max cadance?
-
• #183
I'm curious to see what Matt/OSR puts out, and surely you've got cadence down?
-
• #184
I appear to be quite the dark horse these days...

• #185
Is this the final session tonight?
-
• #186
I think so - Wattbike funtimes! Got some spare non-cleated shoes and everything.

^failed at this, tried to have a gentle jaunt in regents park, but I always get competitive when someone overtakes me :(

He's a lot less powerful these days though, probably around the 800 watt area if he can manage to go flat out for 6 seconds
-
• #192
Got a 1265, JC got a 1278
11.54 for the 200 (I think)
-
• #193
^I got 11. mid something for the 200, but my power was way off. didn't even break 1000 (941). Would blame silly shoes as an excuse but JC was rocking a similar pair hassle free. hrumph.

Not everyone can get their "real" max out on wattbikes, the q-factor and crank length being different and in some cases a mental block which isn't there in a real bike.
You should also take into fact your weight, it's power to weight ratio that matters. -
• #195
Tom's fat so that throws that theory out the window ;-)
-
• #196
Plus those wattbike rankings may have not been seated efforts. or maybe your's weren't ?
-
• #197
We were standing

How anyone could do an hour on a wattbike? record is 46782m!!!
200m was hard enough.

Would be grateful for a PM when this gets started again. Thanks!

Yeah, will this start again? When? I'm worried about extra winter kgs.
Good session but prefer the 'Live and unpluged' sessions
