Yes. Ales and stonebaked pizza sound good.
Matt and Claire, leaving now to deliver your cards.

Aha, in which case I am still interested, but will probably not be bringing a pregnant person!
-
• #179
Oh bugger. Pregnant person reminded me that we have an NHS ante-natal class that evening. Grrrr.

Hm, that web-site seems rather unfinished.
Good isn't it?

I'd have thought a man of your means would be attending NCT classes. :P
-
• #182
Already finished NCT. NHS for belt and braces.

Remember I am a geek. RAID level 2 at least.

So is it Monday or Tuesday? Will Monday be just Oliver and I eating pizza?
Clara has just said the pizza is so good in there. She also wants to come, but not willing to sacrifice Norths.

I can only really do Tuesday now. So yes, it looks like a table for two if you do Monday night.. Bromance.
Easy for me to pick Tuesday though, being a forum hermit I don't really do drinks, none of them are close enough for me to ride home drunk from..
(suddenly remembering all the times I've ridden home drunk in the rain from the arse end of east london and feeling slightly stupid now)

Play Chinese-Checkers in the fast paced hop over non-adjacent pieces variant. That is a fun, quick game.
Play it so much I made my own wonky board out of an old shelf:
you could do this with M&M's

So do you want to do Monday, Ben? I'd be happy to. Otherwise/additionally Tuesday. I reckon that 'First to the Line' (FttL from now on) doesn't require many players to be fun. (There are games that really only work with 4 players up, but this isn't one of them.)

Bump. Are we still on for tomorrow or Tuesday?
-
• #189
Board games?
More like Bored Games. Bwahaaaaaaaa!
-
• #190
been done?
sorry, as you were.
-
• #191
Boo, rad!

The previously mentioned Pembury no longer keen on bikes inside but they now do proper pizzas (supposedly, I haven't been back since) and the games nights are Tuesdays and Sundays - people bring their own games/extensions to add to the pub collection.

I can make a quick game 6-8 tomorrow Oliver, or anyone. Shall we check out the Regent for Tuesday?
-
• #194
Cool, 6 at the Regent. I'll be there.
-
• #195
I'll come. Might struggle to make it for 6, but should be there by half past. I'll be the one with a bike ;)
-
• #196
3 way Bromance!
-
• #197
Shut it you.

Got the cards, BTW Ben, thanks a lot. Have yet to convince any of my non-cyclist friends to play mind...
Has anyone played yet, do the short rules make everything clear? It seems a bit complex for the limited amount of instruction...

3 way Bromance!
No touching, no talking etc
are you selling the cards, Ben?

It's pretty easy to pick up, and he's added a few rule clarifications on his site. Seems complicated but very simple. Impressed how is seems to play like an actual stage.
Dan, nope I put in a order a while back and shipped a few decks. If you are after a deck you can buy one on his site, turns out postage from overseas wasn't that much.
