The weather forecast for the remainder of the week is varied. Metcheck is showing heavy snow, high winds and freezing temperatures which might preclude a decent ride on Saturday. Weather Channel is, however, showing sun and above freezing temperatures. I prefer the latter and so will go with that.

The BBC mentioned that 8 inches were expected later today. Then again, they gave us Strictly Come dancing and so cannot be trusted.

It's a massive con, they just cover their arses by mentioning every type of weather we "might" get, without actually bothering to do any meteorological work to actually give us an idea of will happen.
