Saturday or SMSGRPMT thats (Sunday Morning Splinter Group Richmond Park winter Training).

Ever since skating the old wooden weatherbeaten Henly miniramp in the summer, wearing shorts, sticking on a frontside smith and sliding down the transition on my bare right leg, i have had an aversion to splinters.

Saturday morning it is.

I have no brake on my fixed (Sorry RPM). My affinity is in pieces awaiting sale, Murtles old frame has no drilling and I don't see the point in buying a clamp on.

A bit of an extreme course of action, surely a clamp on brake would be much less dangerous?

Essex is closer to home and there's a lot to be said for getting the hell out of London rather than crossing it for laps of RP.

That said, crossing London for some Surrey/Kent hills, that is a whole different matter.

I think after too many years of living in Essex, i'd rather be staying the hell away from Essex than getting the hell out of London haha.
Anyways will be good to see ya Sunday if you're up for it, its not really a splinter group, more of a we can't ride Saturday so we're faced with Sunday or not at all group.

Oh yeah, I don't have drops either, or tape, I could maybe wrap some electrical tape around my head for the amusement of others....won't do much for crash safety, but at least it'll get a laugh.
I do however have a fuck off big disc brake up front, so stopping won't be a problem.

It's unlikely to be this weekend as I'm considering leaving this fair city for a couple of days escape to the sea. There are always other weeks however.

I'm riding Sunday because my Saturdays are for football. Anyone is welcome to join the ride and the steed you chose is very unimportant as is it's taped or not bars.

can only do saturday. have taped bullhorns. no taped drops. all in all, i'm a worthless waste of space.

A Gonch type could make a killing if they had a stock of taped drops right now.
