  • I miss the legendary Corny roar reverberating around Brixton's hostelries... Other pub patrons, not so much...

  • oh and joe, we got you an array of hipster stickers from all the right shops. including the coveted 'anyone on two wheels is a friend' rim sticker from sable and argent.

  • You were missed tonight by a bunch of us.
Bill Withers would have had you claiming there was a piece of grit in both your eyes.

  • just spent an afternoon, evening, uploading photo's to flickr,
    url here http://www.flickr.com/photos/11623716@N06/

here's a couple to get you started.

missing you guys as well, tweed run 2, football jersey/stadium ride, marathon ride, bank holiday south's...

but buenos aires is all sorts of awesome and the steak is aaaaamazing...
grid system isn't the greatest to provide excitement, but dicing with the cabs and the buses gets the heart pounding...

  • missing you guys as well, tweed run 2, football jersey/stadium ride, marathon ride, bank holiday south's...

in all fairness, I would trade all this for a glimpse of your adventure.

    keep on truckin!

  • in all fairness, I would trade all this for a glimpse of your adventure.

Never heard them called that before... ;]

  • Okay, moved out to Bariloche down south in Argentina, and it's cold, windy, and you can feel the seasons changing, and from my point of view, not for the better. It's getting colder, and I'm all about the sunchasing. I've got no time for the headwinds, and the chill, and the wrapping up warm.
So I've had a lot of time to update the blog.
Upto 84 posts and counting, I'm expecting you to read all of them.
    get reading right here
    http://mrverte.wordpress.com/

But if you can't these one are the bike orientated ones.
    http://mrverte.wordpress.com/category/bike/

Also I'm going to be heading to the states soon, and with money starting to look a bit tight, nows the time to start a couch surfing and a crashing on floors. So if people have contacts/bods to ride with/bods with floors, sofas I can crash on for my time in the states, it would be appreciated.
I'm also going to need invites to the fixed forums out there, if they need them, specifically, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and New York.

Loving you and everything you do good people. Hopefully when I get to Brazil, I'll be on the bike more than I am right now. I hear London's getting hot right now. More riding, less internet bickering people and remember...

YouTube- RAZZY & THE NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS --- I HATE HATE.

  • you need to go to the refugio frey. it is awesome

  • Yep, it sunny and fairly warm over here.
Those who took part in Ma3k's ride on Sat suffered for sunburns.

  • Enjoying the blog dude.... photos are amazing, wish i was tagging along for the ride

    Dexter says HI! :-)

    Big hugs fella

  • hi greenery, do me a favour, add me (hellobirthdayboy or my work email) to yr group email. think you took the list off facebook (which i'm not on) so i'm getting told about emails my the missus. hope argeninaland is biftektastic. call when you get a moment bro!

  • Am heading over to California in the morning, Los Angeles to be exact, Miami isn't exactly overwhelming me.
As always any people to see/hang out with, places to crash, things to do and foods to eat appreciated.
Has my first accident which didn't involve me and alcohol in Miami. Pootling along upto an intersection, cars on my Left, parked car on my right, squeeze the gap, car on my left moves right without indicating as she wants to get to the kerb and turn right, doesn't see me, probably doesn't look, I clip her wing mirror, bounce off parked car and scrap knee and elbow on Tarmac. Blood flows but I'm pretty much okay, apart from the road rash and an aching collar bone.
Assume every driver doesn't see you.
Anyway it's good to be back in the bike, real good, though it looks like I'm going to miss my only chance to ride with the Miami boys as my Everglades tour forgot to pick me up this morning which means I'll have to do the afternoon one instead.
So keep on keeping on and as mentioned above let me know what the haps is, as I'm going to be in Los Angeles, san Francisco, Vegas, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver over the next six weeks.
    Be well people.

If you want to send me info direct rather than through the forum email is presidentfourlife@gmail.com

  • heal up greenery. when's good to call you? need your dulcet tones.

  • There's a nice written piece about this by Corny in the 4th issue of The Ride Journal that just came out, reminded me to check this thread.
