  • I found Google Now to be a bit shit at first, but it didn't help that I was in Seattle when I started using it. Now I've come back to the UK and am back in routine, it's settled down a bit.

I only have it on a tablet, so it's been a bit limited, but I imagine when I have it on both tablet and phone that it'll be great.

  • I use it a hell of a lot, and I was pretty cynical about it when I first got it.

It happens to me all the time.

  • Although it says I should upgrade. And I can't afford to. Bastards.

  • Great review but I'm gonna wait for Saadat's to show up before I take the plunge...

  • Oh, and news from my dad.

Month one on the 3 unlimited data SIM card for £12 per month... he's used 6GB of data.

    I stand impressed.

  • Just dropped my 1x from about 1foot and the screen is now fucked.
Is replacing it easy or shall I seek professional repairs.

  • Great review but I'm gonna wait for Saadat's to show up before I take the plunge...

I'll head South when it arrives so you can have a play.

  • ♥♥♥♥♥

  • What am I missing with Google now? All it ever tells me is how long it takes to drive home. I never drive home.

  • Velocio, your dad has a porn problem.

  • Velocio, your dad has a porn problem.

    He has a weight-lifting problem.

The guy is taller than me, built like a brick shit house, and can deadlift an insane amount.

He hits YouTube over breakfast and watches HD videos of others working out so that he can visualise his own workouts.

Then he goes to the gym and does it.

He also watches fights to get in the mood before that training.

He does this 6 days a week. He's fucking massive. And covered in tattoos (Hells Angel).

    He's a bit of a beast really.

  • my hero

  • swoons

Well, if it is like this, we should exchange our dads, we will all be more satisfied.

  • well, replacing screens on HTC One X looks to be an expensive hobby.
HTC want £145, locally dodgy guy wants £110-120.
I am debating just slinging it on ebay and buying a Nexus 4...

  • The only review that matters... because this lot are cynical hard bastards.

Oh you had to post that.......

    damn

  • Just bought my mum a Nexus 7, having set her up with gmail.
She seems to like it, but as I was out last night she was completely flummoxed by the lock-screen. Doh. Still got a lot to learn.

It's a lovely piece of kit though, and ridiculous for £195. My next phone will be a Nexus!

  • Almost flashed a Nexus rom to my S3... just noticed in the last moment. Epic fail.
    Re-downloading Paranoid Android

  • I just popped a HTC Sensation in the classifieds in case anyone is interested: http://www.lfgss.com/thread96410.html

  • Might have gotten carried away with customizing my new install of AOSP 4.1.2

  • Oh dear...

  • That's a bit awesome.

What are the numbers in the bottom right for?

  • That's a bit awesome.

Agreed, except for the background. I want those icons though!

  • yeah not totally sold on the background, still looking

So the numbers on the bottom are the battery scale. Atm it's at 79%

Using Nova launcher, so the notice bar is hidden.
