Acer have just announced a 4.8 inch phone with 1024 x 480 resolution, as well as very impressive specs.

Unbelievably the Samsung Galaxy S 8MB has been marked for clearance by E2 sales. It is still the daddy in polygon shifting prowess, but other phones have better overall Quadrant scores. Still at just £299.99, its a steal, since its being sold full price in most places.

Seems unlikely, there were reports around 11 November onwards that gingerbread was imminent but HTC would need time to sort out the Sense UI for the Desire...

"star" it in google maps and you can view your "starred" items in maps on your phone - then a press on the more options tab will get the option to add as a contact.
Nice one - that works well. Chrome to Phone seems a good idea but underdeveloped. And I still can't get it to send a url to my phone.

I might jump ship, this is what I've been waiting for: http://www.doubletwist.com/

By "we," Johansen means his company, doubleTwist, which he co-founded in 2007. The doubleTwist software, which is free, is a kind of Rosetta stone for digital-media files: it can translate, reconcile and organize files from about 500 different devices and bring them together into one elegant interface. In June, doubleTwist introduced an Android app, and some 500,000 people have since downloaded it. Last year, doubleTwist scored a piratical coup by taking out an ad that read: "The Cure for iPhone Envy. Your iTunes library on any device. In seconds." It ran on the side of the building that houses San Francisco's flagship Apple store.

Anyone played spaghetti marshmallow? seriously, may be better than angry birds. Only thing is you don't get the full game free, just first 10 levels. Think its about 1.60 to buy and well worth it.
On another note, I find the camera on the desire really rather crap, are there any apps that result in a better quality photo, rather than just the gimmicky ones?

Anyone using the HTC Desire HD... worth switching from an iPhone?
I've had Moxier World installed from the get-go. I can always see the current weather, time and temperature at a glance in all the places that my family are.
Whoever bought the Dell Streak will be feeling rather jammy about now. Updated to Froyo 2.2 from 1.6
