My Moto G went belly up today - It started feeling very warm, turning itself off a lot, and is now off totally, and will not charge up at all.

Is this terminal? What are my options?

(Other than a replacement - which may be problematic as it's unlocked & fucked about with).

any new apps recently? try recharging for a while (they won't respond initially if totally empty) and then trying to identify a culprit using some kind of cpu monitor

Is there a good app to securely send/share photos? By which I mean, password or code protected.

I've found a "secure gallery app" that hides a folder from other galleries until you enter a code, but in combination with whatsapp this still leaves a "blurry" version of the image in the thread...

N5 survived two inches of water in my pocket for an hour and subsequent trying to charge it not realising it was still wet. Although I have a lovely pearlised effect under the screen now which is.... different.

I'm after a cheap tablet to take travelling. I'm assuming it will get stolen so price is the main consideration.

I'm planning on getting a Hudl using some clubcard points. Is there anything that can match it in terms of bang for buck?

Or is there anything that's going to come out in the next 1-2 months that's sub£150 that would be worth waiting for?

The n7 is also very robust (for a piece of modern consumer electronics). My sister has one for uni and it spends its days in a cheap case being thrown in and out her bag and dragged around campus

Errrr I think I said that it is BRIGHT FUCKING RED.

Its so red that the next time I go on a driving holiday in France I will not need to buy a high vis vest at the Chunnel "gift shop" as I can just wave my phone around like a beacon of BRIGHT FUCKING REDNESS.

Are you still having issues with switching it on? Try pressing the power and down volume buttons at the same time for 5-10 secs to reboot screen then select option to simple start up.

So after my failings with the One-X screen replacement, mrs_com has shown me up by successfully replacing her Nokia Lumia 625 screen. I feel emasculated and proud at the same time. Anyone want to buy some tools?
