There's an update available for my Moto-G, or rather there would be if the fucking thing could connect to the wifi.
But it can't, so it can't have the update.

Says pre-order.
Same 16GB White, £229 at Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_5_white_16gb
There's probably £10 express postage on top of that, but Google claim to have it in stock.
£299 at Google now. I think CPW had a little bit of a rush and have sold out of their stock. Worth holding on for a restock to save £60.

Stick your router onto G for a bit, the phone should pick it up then.

The back of my N4 has shattered to bits and is well and truly f*cked. Any recommendations for replacements?

The N5

Ha! I was after a replacement cover. How big a step up is the N5 compared to the N4 in terms of battery and camera performance?
I've got an iPhone 5s as back up but will have to give it back when I leave my job in a couple of weeks.

Dunno, I skipped over the N4 because I thought it was a bit shit. The N5 is better than the Galaxy Nexus so I'd expect it to be better than the N4. It's a bit bigger, nice screen, not sure about camera and the battery seems good though I don't use it that much during the day.

It's funny that nobody's mentioned the xperia z1 compact...

As you were.
Thanks for the heads-up, looks like a small phone done properly. Is there anything cheaper that comes close performance-wise while still being fairly small?

It's a Sony, we try not to mention them.

Going to get a replacement cover for the N4 and have a play on the N5 and see if I can persuaded to part with my cash for one. Not holding my breath, I hate spending cash on phones.

Most importantly, will the N5 fit into the case Murtle made for my HTC One-X?
It does

Looking to get the moto g for my g/f but she wants a play with it before hand. As Tescos don't have them switched on to use at our store, what other phones use 4.3/4.4 as stock and are likely to be on in a shop so she can have a look?

Cyanogenmod11 fine on the SGS3, so I suppose in theory, you'll be fine.

very basic simple game that feels unfinished but is strangely addictive in a just one more go type way.
