Fine, you are clearly the Uber H4XX0R etc etc.
What's important to me us that the phone works, quickly and cleanly.
See, I'd agree with you ... but 2+ years ago. Now you really have to try to break Android phones AND they do a lot more.

I switched to android from apple for various reasons and I use multiple devices at work for testing but please dont criticize apple for industrial design. Who in the right mind can think that ANYTHING samsung/lg/whatever looks better than anything apple.

You're not listening, chaps- and that's fine, you have nailed your colours to your respective masts.

Laterz, as Joe would say.

I'm a Windows Mobile fan boy. That was the best o's Eva.

Perhaps a few years ago, but wtf is so great about the design now ? It's still the same with only a few very minor changes. Nothing earth shattering, or even that damn interesting :)

Also what laptop do you have? ;)
-
• #14035
yes, my point exactly. They designed something good. About 5 years ago. It's like Porsche's inability to ever change shape. Classic design maybe, but fucking boring

Umm Dell Latitude running Win 8.1 / Linux (depends what I have to do)

• #14037
- good design is as less design as possible
If something is perfect (and selling) why alter? Why over-design?
- good design is as less design as possible

"Classic design maybe, but fucking boring" ... again
-
• #14039
So basically Apples innovation time is over, hard to innovate yet stick with the same classic design.

Like a bicycle wheel
-
• #14041
I'd hardly equate a phone with the wheel

• #14042
added to which the main problems with apple is not the hardware per say rather the years behind limitations of the software that are imposed for no real justification
-
• #14043
Has he gone yet?
-
• #14044
and a number of people have Android phones that are more expensive than iphones.
Fucking mugs.

Yep have both android and iOS devices. IPod touch ratgerr than iphone, but same shit. IOS drives me nuts. They have adfifferrent design philosophy which caterrsd to people who want a single way of doing things rather than choice. I underrsdtand the allure of that for the noob, but that's not my way. In anything: bikes, coffee, poker, alcohol, razors etc. The iphone is the Boardman pro of smartyphones - good, conventional, safe, limited, reliable, not the best choice.
Let me guess, you typed this on an Android phone, right?
-
• #14046
Typed? Does anyone still do that?
Y U no talky into fone, bruv?
-
• #14047

Goes without saying, Andy...
Also love apples innovation... wait, what innovations ? Apple haven't done anything new since the iphone 2g (which I really did like, loved the metal case, OS was awesome cutting edge then)
