    That's why it's worth getting the N5.

Do Three do a rolling monthly Sim-only "contract" for under £20 with unlimited data and enough calls/texts for an Aussie male (that's fuck all, we don't chit chat) ?

  • approx £265 I heard

    Hmm very tempting.

  • My worry with phone size is one handed use. I want to be able to pull the notifications down with my thumb whilst the phone rests on my pinky.

This. Too big and you have to fashion some kind of wank stand or get your missus involved and who wants that?

    Go look.

I'm paying £22 per month on the One Plan for unlimited internet and silly minutes and texts. When 4G arrives on Three in a couple of months it's an automatic upgrade if your phone can support it, and the plan and price does not change.

  • that is true - I thought I had developed a poltergeist! bloody thing silently slid off bedside cabinet whilst I was reading one night - then did it again 5 mins later......and this was just on a very very tiny incline caused by sitting it on the case...

holy jizzbombs - I'm paying £31 a month with Vodafoam

  • I'm paying, er, well under £20 after quidco cashback for that

  • I'd really like to get message access profile, or MAP, enabled in the Bluetooth 3.0 suite on the galaxy note. Short of a cyanogen procedure, anyone have any tips?

  • New camera tech on the N5

    Sounds V. promising.

Also read about the Z1 from Sony - that looks like a very good phone. Although probably loaded with bloatware from the off.

  • Optics matter more.

But hey, the human eye works on the basis of low quality optics and hundreds of millions of sensors... so perhaps there's something in this "huge sensor, small optics" thing.

  • I've just put kitkat on my phone.

  • It will melt if your phone is busy doing something.

sorted, mb comand required an enable data tick

  • Anyone still with Giffgaff? I've just transferred to 3 because they have an actual shop with people I can talk to (and are as cheap).

I'm not so annoyed about the three outages in the last week, as the complete lack of communication. I can accept the fact that they are 'community run' but I thought the intended upside of that was clarity of communication. If I'm going to get typical corporate obfuscation, I might as well go to a company that at least has back-up servers.

Was tempted with their 12 month - £15 - unltd tethering option, would be great with 4G tbh!

and to answer this, £12.90 gets you 200 min, 5000 texts and unlimited data

  • I don't get all this 3/Three love for phones. I have found the network coverage to be fucking rubbish. Great pricing but strongly considering switching. I live in Zone 2 might I add!

  • O2 doesn't work properly in my office, NW1. Fail.

  • I thought Velocio gave them the LFGSS seal of approval? Anyway its only 1 month if it does turn out to be shit

  • Very tempted by the N5. Rumours suggest Oct. 14th news/release. I'm a bit out of the loop though.

My plan is to get one bough in the US and shipped. Should be cheaper I think ($349 for a 32gb is what I've read).

  • but new iphone is waterproof...

  • :)

I know, but I'm not going to add a kilo of glass to my phone just for better phone pics.
