  • *3. I can help with.

If the address in the calender event doesn't turn into a link, it won't do it. So it's worth always checking when you enter a location into an event to see if it turns into a link.*

How do you do that? I very rarely get Google Now popping up with my appointments. I suspect it may be because most of them are entered into Outlook and then synced via Google Calendar Sync

  • This looks very interesting.

    Good:

    Cheap
    Acts as a case
Copies the N7 bezel and back

    Bad:

    No Tab key
    Could fall apart rapidly

I might by one. (Just to test of course...)

  • Keyboard looks quite nice actually - tempted to buy for parents.

  • Not Android per se but pretty cool..

  • That is mad. Looks incredible.

  • Does look interesting, wonder if its able to handle other touch targets than just the keyboard, would be a much more compelling idea if it could create any shape required by the interface.

Kind of think that just adding tactility to touchscreens isn't the way forward though. It will be a better experience than what we have now, but it still is really limiting the hand to taps and swipes, when its capable of so much more.

I don't know about Outlook events, sorry. When I create a new event on my Google Calendar, it asks me to enter a location, when I save the event the location turns into a clickable link that opens maps. If Outlook doesn't have a location field then I guess it's not going to work unless you add one manually.

  • Does anyone have an HTC Desire battery they no longer need, mine is only lasting 15-20 mins at a time and I'm about to upgrade in the next week or two so I don't need a new one.

    Thanks.

  • What are you getting Marlon? Consider waiting a month more, so that any phones that showed at the CES 2013 show, might start appearing on the market. I know you like camera ability, so this might be worth a look.

settling for the s3, i'm not too fussed about getting the latest gadget and plus i had a play with sony t and nexus4 as well and for me the s3's visual display and camera were much sharper, the nexus' screen always seemed dull even on the brightest setting. also i can't wait for another month as my battery goes flat as soon as i step out the door after a full charge.

I've got one you can have.

I'd like it back eventually, but don't need it for now.

    PM me.

  • There's a lot of articles about LG stopping production of the Nexus 4 to start work on a new Nexus project? Anyone got any decent info on this?

XDA Developers are suggesting only 370,000 units were produced and sold using IMEI data which is pretty low volume in 3 months.

  • Hope they will make whatever they're creating by May or sooner, in time for my upgrade.

  • Pretty sure I read somewhere that it was likely to be a spec bumped version of the nexus 4 rather than a complete new phone, much like they did with the 7.

  • Sweet.

  • As for what the new Nexus would come with, IBT says a quad-core 2GHz processor and Key Lime Pie could make an appearance as early as next month.

    licks lips

  • How pissed would you be if you were still waiting for delivery and they announced a new one?

  • ring ring

    Hi, Google? FUCK YOU.

    click

  • The automated phone service woman would be horribly offended.

Instant free upgrade for undispatched orders?

  • Might explain why it was sold so cheap - perhaps rushed out to compete/ keep up with the iPhone 5 launch

  • anyone recommend a repair ctr..need to get the digitiser on a htc desire hd replaced (london based)?
