£350 off ebay with blurry photos, plus £50 fuel and 7 hours driving to fetch it.
Yesterday I discovered that almost all the bolts have been fitted dry. Urgh.

They seem to have a pair in Germany

There is this caveat.
""This article will be procured for you. We have no delivery date."" -

Cheers. That's a really good idea.

Have you emailed Surly?
Also I'm not sure where the bolt fits, but how much of an exact fit does it need to be?
Idk if it would give you enough shoulder, but I needed a bolt for my motorbike that needed a longer shoulder than normal for its size, so I got a much longer bolt than I needed which therefore had a longer shoulder then cut it.

Normal bolts have a shoulder the same diameter as the thread's nominal diameter.
These have a wider shoulder.
Will be emailing Ison tomorrow.

What's the go to road tubeless conversion kit to buy? Prices seem to vary quite a bit and I have zero experience with any of these so don't know if it's worth the extra ££ or not.

What’s the likelihood of this crack being “superficial”? (which is how a seller is describing it)

I wouldn't.

Me either, and I'm guessing they have not provided a nice clear photo looking at the other side to back up their claim?

Bottom of the headtube of an aluminium frame? That's a fairly classic place for them to crack I think.

It’s carbon. Could be paint, I guess you’d have to strip it to find out.
I’ve messaged asking how it happened -

Thanks for the recommendation, I ordered a Xioami with a usb-c output that was surprisingly cheap and well reviewed!

Do any branches of Sports Direct actually carry bike stuff? They seem to have some decent deals on tyres, but only if you don't have to include postage.
-
• #98167
The one here in Leeds definitely has at least some cycle clothing, I can't remember off the top of my head if they had any tyres etc

In-store price is often higher, if you manage to find what you’re after.

Anyone bought one of these Btwin road cassettes?
Saves a tenner on a shimano 105 cassette of the same range (11-28)... wondering if its worth it or to just get the shimano.

Anyone know what the hell this thing is on the side of the house I’m buying? (Not the door of course)

Martial art trainer I think. For arms and shoulders.

That certainly looks like it. Like the one Ip Man uses in the film, but smaller.

Presumably, it's easy to fake where a telephone call is originating from? I just had a missed call which a quick google suggests was from the Gibraltar International Bank. I find this unlikely. Just wondering how easy it is for scammers to falsify the appearance of an incoming number?
-
• #98174
I get calls using a local area code sometimes that are clearly not from around here.

Pretty easy.

My friend has given me a pair of Tiagra 4600 drop bar shifters he had on his croix de fer with discs. I was wondering if the actuation would be appropriate for some normal calipers? Got a pair of ultegra's I'd like to pair up with them.
EDIT: looks like I just need to make sure I'm using Super SLR calipers
