Can anyone recommend a good bike fit that's available outside of work hours (6pm or later) central?

My current mobile phone contract is with EE, so is my home fiber optic. As a result I get 20gb free added to my contract each month.
I'm looking to upgrade my mobile but none of these seem anywhere near as good as if I go through a third party reseller (mobiles.co.uk) for the contract this time around.
EE can't really give me an answer but am I likely to keep my perks (20gb+ free) each month if I cancel and take out a new contract?

EE can't really give me an answer
Try talking to their retention department (they will almost certainly pass you to them if you ring up and say you're intending to cancel) and tell them the package details you need them to match to keep your contract.

Can confirm it works. Quite a neat system. Haven't driven with it yet though.

Thank you - I'll give them a call this eve.
Problem is they could just go okay then see you later. Knowing full well that my data for my phone is also reliant upon me having home broadband with them.

Mostly likely suspect for creaking under moderate/high power while seated?
In the past it’s been seatpost clamp or saddle rails, but I’ve tended to those and it persists. I did notice that there is play in the rear while bearings, which may be the cause I suppose and I’ll be getting those replaced, but it doesn’t seem as bad/to happen at all when applying same effort out of saddle.
About to get liberal with the GT85 on the chainring bolts and band-on front mech. Doesn’t seem to be play in bottom bracket or coming from (ATAC) pedals. Will also apply to tips of saddle rails where they meet saddle shell.
Owt else?

It’s been reported that a QR skewer can be the cause of an undetermined creak.

Great shout. Have given those a good clean too. Cheers.

I'm currently using a San Marco Regale Carbon FX Team on my bike, such as this one, which is quite comfortable to me. It looks to me like the newer lineup of San Marco saddles are not quite the same shape. This is a long shot of course, but has anyone used that specific saddle and then moved on to something else they also found quite comfortable? Or does anyone have a specific recommendation of newer saddles that have largely the same type of shape, and that one might be able to find used somewhere? I need a second one for another bike.
(One can still get the Carbon FX, but I'm not really up for paying >£110 for it...)

I just used one of those sketchy cashpoints in a newsagents.
It didnt charge me for the cash withdrawal. So how does the company who makes it make any money?

Have you tried ali express for cheap san marco copies?

• #96288
I have not - that's worth a punt I suppose!

Selling your details on the dark web.

I guess your bank pays them a bit of money for the transaction.

I've encountered a problem with my Trek 4.5 carbon frame. The dt cable adjusters have sheared off inside the mount - looking at the mount, it appears that they are riveted in in some way (it's not an allen key)
So does anybody know if these are removeable/replaceable?

Just leave them and use in-line adjusters?
(yes, I'm lazy and do this with my broken DT cable adjusters)

• #96293
I would prefer to remove and sort them but that's not a bad shout, thanks!
-
• #96294
You might be able to remove it by screwing in a bolt/drill bit from the exit end and it should just pop right out.
-
• #96295
Good idea but the threads from the adjuster protrude outside of the mount
-
• #96296
Hmm... Wouldn't that mean it's easier to remove the adjuster then? You could either unscrew or screw it out?

You spend your money in the shop?
-
• #96298
Yeah I've read similar accounts but would still like to go while I am there

They can be removed (although they'll almost certainly be bonded into place with some sort of adhesive so force will be required) and they could be replaced (spares can be sourced and pop rivets can be riveted) but it'd almost certainly be easier to get the remains of the old barrel adjuster out and retap the threads instead.

Cheers. I'm not far from there so may pop in at the weekend.
