  • there's no program to automate making a big photo out of lots of little ones is there?

comme ça. (excuse the picture of jim carrey)

i doubt it, but i can't be arsed to do it by hand.

    Have a look in here.

    Timelapse!

    YouTube - bicycleimages photo mosaic

Not sure how they did it though.

  • that's really good, cheers.
guess i'll just have to index a load of photos by colour and then put them together..

I didnt get a great result from this, but the limited image number and colour range didnt help.

  • thanks, i'll give that a go.
did you use the mac or windows software?

  • Windows,
    long time since

  • Nike 6.0

I had some mids that lasted me about a year (they were even seconds) And I rode bmx and skated in the everyday
Fine for walking in and my feet never smelt.

You jokers are clearly fakengers of walking, or at least hipsterexic. I have nike skate shoes, and other skate shoes like globes and vans. They are all too squishy and then dont give your foot any support in the form on snugness/lace tension.

Stuff like old school vans and chucks give your foot support and are not squishy, but the problem is that the sole is so thin. So for any long walk, the constant pressure of uneven cobbles and trying to tip toe over them makes walking incredibly innefficient.

Of course it depends on foot width as well, however my orthopaedist told me optimally shoes need a stiff sole (so that you can't fold it with your hands) and should have stiff walls around the ankle.

If I remember correctly the 6.0's were solid, very stiff, they just didn't come in my size. Vans were always loose noodles in comparison, at least in the pathetic selection we have here.

  • said it before, I'll say it again. Vans blow. Shitty shoes that are way over rated and look crap.

Just get some walking boots and be done with it.

  • You jokers are clearly fakengers of walking(...) blah blah

Buy a pair of light walking shoes then.

  • Too late.

The older vans that are made in Vietnam/phillipines are good.

  • I find Vans too squishy/spongy, so we have totally opposite experiences :-)

  • what vans are we talking about? If its the classic ones, they are just the same as chucks.

  • Buy a pair of light walking shoes then.

But all them walking shoes have deep cut knobbly treads. It would be like riding a MTB in the city. Plus they look shit.

  • I had once boots (well, pseudo-boots) from Cushe. I like d them a lot.

^ Not these, simplier, but they don't do them.

    chucks are crap too.

  • said it before, I'll say it again. Vans blow.

    NO, u blow.

  • If you gonna get boots just get red wings and forfeit some hipster tax....

try the adi Top Tens though srsly!

  • Chucks are good. Just not for walking.

  • Red Wings?

  • Chucks are only for the slim foot. So, they blow.

  • If you gonna get boots just get red wings and forfeit some hipster tax....

They look like UGGS for metrosexuals

  • Chucks are good. Just not for walking.

so what are they good for? They absorb water like a sponge, they have thing soles so hurt after a while, they have no padding so rub after a while and they are pretty much solely for people over 30 who wear G Star t-shirts and think they're 20.

  • no offence meant to you
