Looks like it has an ebike motor in the rear hub and seat made of battery.

If I'd ordered something online and the tracking function said:
Status: In progress (Exported)
What would the 'exported' bit mean?
Previous dispatched orders from the same place say:Status: In progress (Dispatched)

How much has your prescription changed? Seems very unlikely; worst-case you might get a bit of a headache.

seat made of battery.
@Constable_Savage has identified it, it is missing the battery which should live in the tray forming the seat tube
-
• #90208
So the seat is just like that to be like that rather than to hide ebike bits, why not just hide ebike bits like that.
-

why not just hide ebike bits like that.
It would raise the centre of gravity, obstruct the padding and prevent the deletion of the front half of the seat to create the step-through version

Sorry to bother you all again with used bike advice, but I had a test ride of this Moser today and it was super nice. Light, smooth shifting, good feel. It's Dodeccai Zero Uno steel, Ambrosio wheels, Veloce groupset. Guy wants 500 for it. What's a reasonable counter-offer? Or is the consensus still to hold out for a modern carbon bike? I'm kinda smitten with this thing tbh.

As before, are you buying a bicycle or jewellery? You'll get much more bang for your buck from something only a year or two old, but if you don't mind the inconvenience and expense there's nothing wrong with owning jewellery.

Don't people just buy them as they look like a naff motorbike? Didn't think it was designed more than looks lol

I have a strange issue. In the past week I've had 3 or 4 calls on my mobile from people saying they have a missed call from me. I definitely haven't called them (or anyone else for that matter so it's not a wrong number).
I've no idea who the people are (all UK mobiles) and there doesn't appear to be any scam on their side.
Anyone any idea why this would be happening and how to fix it? I guess the obvious answer is to phone my network but I'd really prefer not to waste ages trying to get them to understand the issue if there's a simpler solution.

It sounds like you want validation for a purchase.
A bike is about the experience, not just the sum of its parts. It's about the feeling of freedom and being at one with the road. It's about the soul, passion, and history that resonates from those handmade steel tubes... from a time where craftsmen, not factory workers, built objects of desire.
This is the right bike for you.
Buy it.
I'd offer £350 for it without the saddle and see what he says.
My man-maths adds up like this;
£100 for the group
£225 for the frame
£125 for the wheelsWhich makes £500 alright if you like it and want it now, but end up splitting and selling 'cause you don't.
Equally if you hold out you could probably nab something similar for as low as £300....
... or if you're being logical look for a 2nd hand Allez someone bought on C2W and never used, plus a new set of decent 28mm tyres (or this).

Cross posting from beer thread, as nobody seemed to want essentially free beer.
S'up boozers? I got given a beer and cheese tasting thing at brewdog for Xmas which expires at the end of the month, I was all set to walk round the corner after work one evening and cash it in along with the free beer they gave out and get a little tipsy for free. Annoyingly I don't seem to be able to book it at the Manchester brewdog and as its a thing that is at 1830 Mon-Thu, work means I don't really have time to get over to Liverpool or Sheffield to do it there. Soo, who wants it? It's for 2 people and just requires a Groupon code or some shit which I'll send you. From memory it's valid at a couple of London branches, Bristol, Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow and Edinburgh, plus a couple more I can check for you if there's a local one I haven't mentioned. All I ask in return is if we ever bump into each other IRL you buy me roughly how much beer you got to drink, and maybe some cheese.
It's basically free, or if you ever cross my path, it'll cost you a can, a babybell
and your soul. -

I'll happily take this if it works in Edinburgh!

For what it's worth (SSD talk) Jigsaw completely fucked me around on stock and availability. Ordered 4 x 1TB last week: http://www.g-technology.com/products/g-drive-mobile-ssd-r-series with guaranteed before midday delivery etc. All in stock at time of order. Spoke to sales guy who said no problem. By today I was panicking as I have a shoot tomorrow. They seem to be acting as a reseller to other sellers who had placed other orders that superseded mine even though I was first chronologically. Tried calling loads of phone numbers of theirs, tried emailing, no response, twitter etc - literally no answer until this morning when they said 'sorry, not sure why they didn't go out, we won't have any more for a fortnight'.
I ended up on a train up to London to pick some up from the Apple store at the Apple mark up.
They are nice though. And tiny. Fuck Jigsaw though.

Edinburgh was a booking option. For added fun I've been there and twisted my ankle out front giving someone a lighter the evening before a polo tournament, I think it was the only brewdog pub back then. I'll pm you details.

@mdcc_tester While we all greatly appreciate your technical knowledge on all things bicycle, your knowledge on social issues do not match it and come across as prejudicial.

Do you agree that what you wrote can be translated into English as "While we all greatly appreciate your technical knowledge of all things bicycle, your knowledge of social issues does not match it and comes across as prejudiced"? If we agree on the translation, then we can agree to disagree about your analysis. I think you have mistaken a different social attitude and political philosophy for ignorance and bigotry. Alex Krotoski discussed exactly this problem on The Digital Human yesterday, you might find it interesting; I'm assuming from your tone that you haven't already listened to it.

Thanks for the detailed reply, you were right, I had already made my mind up and was just looking for some confirmation that the price wasn't outrageous. Tested some carbon and alu bikes but just wasn't excited by them. Settled at 400 without saddle and pedals. I'm chuffed, it's a beaut!
The easy way round this (as mentioned by someone a few pages back) is to use a synch pip. You could re-export their video (as a reference) with this flashframe added, and start your audio deliverable at the same frame with an audio beep for the same frame.
What someone is doing is fucking you up to make you feel small. You need to get fucking bossy.
