You might be lucky if the subbie for Mains replacement us also the subbie for water meter installation.

I have one of these, it's very good - the three rubber bands on the end fucked off with extreme speed however.

Guys. I'm not in your price bracket for pumps.
-
• #88856
You can't.

I went to sigma to buy that Silca, the sales guy convinced me to buy Lezyne after letting me use both, I was convinced with Lezyne, I like it but if you don't there is nothing between lezyne and silca .. frame pump maybe?

I noticed that a lot of recent build seem to have both long stems, a fair few spacers, and very long seatposts, and that is on compact and traditional geos. That would be fine on "Parts Bin" bikes, but I feel I see that a lot here.
I'm thinking of building a new comuter to give the GT Force better/lighter components, and I'm toying with the idea of going 52/53 frame instead of a 54/55. As it is, while my 54 GT Force suits me quite well, I only have 15/18cm of the seatpost sticking out and I had to put 250mm worth of spacers for the bike to be comfy...
Is there any reason, other than aesthetics, to go for a smaller frame?
Is it just cognitive bias, and there aren't much of these configs on lufguss? -

Is this your bike?

I'm interested in this, not out of choice but by going for a slightly smaller frame than usual due to lead times and using Stack and Reach to get the same geo. Means almost the full 400mm of seatpost which looks a bit ridiculous.

It'll look absurd
(though maybe that's slightly longer than 400mm?)

Oh typo! I meant 25mm...

Thought you might :)

@mdcc_tester has the 5:1 top tube:stem ratio as an approximate rule of thumb.
A larger frame would have had too high a stack and led me to have a short stem on this bike and the bars still need to come lower.

Since 2006 I've had three of these (one in each bag).

Not as pretty as the Silca but more than adequately does the job.
I'm not convinced about the claimed 160 psi - but then, I never go beyond 6 or 7 bar.
I think Rutland Cycles are currently doing a deal on them.ETA - I've tried other mini-pumps from Topeak and invariably returned them for a refund as they were utter shite.

That makes sense. Thanks!
Your bike looks balanced somehow. It's lovely! -

Anyone been to, or know anything about Louisiana?
Visiting New Orleans and wanted to get a car and visit the surrounding area. Thinking non-killing outdoorsy stuff.
I've snapped a halo skewer by tightening.
I am blessed with no mechanical skills though.
While I'm here:
bike pumps not frame. Mini ones. But not too mini. I have a lezyne thing that i hate.
I'd like something longer and able to notget too hot ( i understand it will get hot) and get me to 100 psi without looking like i'm going to die.
