The insert for the internal rear brake cable on my road bike keeps popping out of the frame after a couple of pulls of the rear brake lever.
Could the angle/length of the rear brake cable from the frame insert to caliper be causing this? I think the cable could be shorter and straighter from the frame to caliper?

I think the cable could be shorter and straighter from the frame to caliper?
I think so too so is there a way of pulling it though at the front end to achieve that? Just temporarily to see if it solves the issue rather than trimming the outer and finding it's worse.

Friction between the inner and outer cables?
As the caliper opens it's pulling both inner and outer, rather than just the inner?

Any ideas who might stock a replacement strap for some Sidi Dominators in central London? Managed to break one this morning - already called Condor and they say they don't have anything

What A-C length?

Maybe try the tool thread? I'd recommend a Dremel. You won't regret buying a good tool.

For an extra £15 - just get a Dremel
Having bought two knock offs, I will be going Dremel the second the most recent one dies. Tool holding, noise and heat build up are not worth the cost saving.

Are there any radio breakfast shows that won't make me want to stick hot pokers in my ears to block the inanity? Needs to be music based otherwise I won't wake up.

400mm isn't really a 29er fork length.
26er rigid forks that are suspension corrected for 100mm travel tend to be 440mm.
Found this, but it's 445mm A-C: http://www.carboncycles.cc/?s=0&c=43&p=1760

with carbon rims should you use the brake pads specific to the brand, i.e. corima pads on corima rims, or can you get away with swiss stop yellow on pretty much any rim?
-
• #86843
corima on corima yes rest either lifeline blue (same as reynolds) or swissstop black prince then lie to the manufacturer if you get in warranty trouble.

Is where I usually score my Sidi spare parts, as well shoes at knock down prices.
Their service is usually pretty quick - I don't think they have a counter store, just the online one. -

Hmm, Youtube? Twitter? Print media? I dunno. I'm too old to "discover bands".
Actually that's not true, my techno habit means I find most stuff via mixcloud and soundcloud and then hunt other stuff down on youtube or maybe beatport/other digital sellers.
