Would you have said 'Are you the young white gent' if he was white?

I struggle with that a lot, too. Everytime I have to describe someone I go by the most obvious attribute a person has, which can be their skin colour at times. Although it shouldn't make any difference than going with for example hair/eye colour, it still does.
I even feel awkward when I call the group of friends of my flatmate Latinos as they are a bunch of people from different parts of Latin America. Even my flatmate calls them that. Just as I call my friends from uni friends from uni. -

I've thought about this before. I would always avoid using somebody's race as a describing feature of them. Its not racist though in my opinion. He is indeed black, noticing that he is black and saying that he is black are not offensive.
I wouldn't be offended if I were to be described as the white guy by someone with a different skin colour to me. -

That's been my experience. Excess is only for your own claims.

What is a reasonable price for postage on a set of wheels between UK & EU (specifically Italy to UK)? Any wheelposters among us?

Thanks - I suppose it makes sense in that I'll take the hit when it comes to my premium when I come to renew next year :/

I used the BB30>Shimano converters that came with my frame for a bit but they were super-creaky. Then I bought the Praxis thing and it was quieter. Not completely quiet though. Overall worked well.
My bearings have just died after 1,200 miles which is a pain, and they're not officially replaceable. You lose warranty if you do it. I've just ordered replacement bearings for £15 from Sigma. I'll find out next week how hard it is to replace them.
You need two BB tools to install it - just something to bear in mind.

I couldn't find a workshop that had a tool that fit, so I bought a SM-HB20 lockring instead (HT2 fit).
Only to realise that my 10 -speed cassette need a spacer (1.85mm?) that I haven't got in the part bin. FML. -

Hey guys!
Building a new bike and I'm wanting to use sram force 1 or sram rival 1. However I'm just not sure which bottom bracket I need? I've got a bsa shell so the standard one. English threaded 68mm wide.
The frame also requires a headset. It's a tapered headset and so are the forks. The top is 34mm and bottom is 44mm not exactly as I don't have a vernier..
I'm think Chris king for the headset and unsure what bottom bracket, preferably one that will give me room to offset so I don't run into any problems with the rear chainstays.
Kind regards!

Hi Sean, what's the frame?
Sounds like you just need a standard GXP bottom bracket. Does the headset have external cups or integrated/hidden? -
• #85571
Somewhere to start, I'm not sure you'll need 'offset'

Cheers, that looks interesting and maybe good for pitted areas but it's a spray so don't think it'd fill an actual dent? Good to know about the brand though.

How many frames per can of Klean Strip?
I can't confirm, but I thought excess was just for your own claims
