*unless you agreed on an alternative safeword in advance in which case 'crunchy nut cornflakes' could mean no instead.

Offs
srsly
french threads
What are they for?
-
• #8308
they're intended to make the person dealing with them surrender and give up immediately.
-
• #8309
sheldon reckons "French-thread cranks can be tapped out to 9/16"
so you could always tap that...

Why did that dollop of oozing brown sauce from my breakfast sausage sandwich drop right onto my groin, making me look like a snivelling incontinent?

Yo Sir Skully, why don't you just ask me! I have french threaded pedals on my MBK, you welcome to come so we can try.
This can be re-threaded + insert fitted so that you can use international / british threaded pedals for more choice. French threaded pedals in my experience are even harder than BB cups and headsets to source... I only have one decent pair and will rethread when they go wrong... Putney Cycles offered to do it for me for £15 or £20 when I asked but this was a while back. You need to trust who does the job in case you decide to do it, as if it is badly done (at an angle) you can expect some oscilation when you are pedaling. That's something (like when your steel cranks are bent) that you get used to but when you change bike it's like "WTF?"
If I don't hear from you I will assume that you are ignoring me and it will be war again between france and england!

Repost for new page ....
Does anyone know what pedal thread TAs with this stamped on them might take (assuming E4 or BSC mean something to do with cranks). When I saw BSC I assumed that meant British threads, but it seems not. Now I'm thinking they must be French... can anyone confirm? Has anyone got some french pedals I can try fitting? -

It's sticking to your inner steel.
It won't work on Mrs Brave or Loic though, for obvious reasons.
