A local hardware store that sells Gorilla tape.
This, but I'd recommend an upgrade to Gorilla clear repair tape. It's lighter, doesn't absorb the sealant, and doesn't leave a ton of sticky residue behind if you need to remove it.
Only downside is it's a bit more expensive.

How do you know how wide to make the Gorilla tape?
And which chains stock it?

On my last rims, I took the external width, then added 2mm and that worked out just right. It'll depend slightly on the internal profile of the rim, so do a tiny test strip first.
And which chains stock it?
B&Q & Toolstation sell it

yes, the webmail in browser work around works; it's as bit fiddly on a mobile hone screen.
@Howard - only options seem to be to check or uncheck the "require SSL" option.
Username and password are the same as i just logged into webmail with so can't see that being in issue.
windows - le sigh

It doesn't really matter if the tape is too wide. It matters if it's not wide enough.
-
• #81707
I don't know how wide it should be - should it butt up against the inner face of the vertical section or go up it?
-
• #81708
= this is why it seems simpler to me to buy the correct tape.
-

Flush against the inner face or riding up it a bit. I suspect original gorilla tape is a bit more flexible in this regard compared the plastic stuff.

Ask HED what width they suggest then I guess.

That's certainly one way of dealing with the sealant sucking issue.

What is this issue and have you experienced it?

You've not had Gorilla tape drinking your Stans before?
-
• #81714
They just say buy there tape, they don't say how wide it is. And they're out of stock.

No. My tubeless stuff just works. I have five sets of wheels set up this way, all fine.
The only ones which were remotely problematic were the carbon giant rims on the Trance, which required a couple of layers of tape - even when using compressed Co2 to inflate.
The issue that troubles me the most is Stans reacting with the rubber causing the tyres to weep oil. I just pretend that isn't happening.

Browser: as offered by W10M or Firefox?
If FF, can you not click on the 'remember password option',
then put a link to the 'signed in webpage' on the homescreen,
relabelled as 'Instant email' or some such? All important data on the L640 backed up?
Factory reset and start again with 'fresh' W10M os rather than incremental update.
(There are options as to which update path you are on, AAWP will explain).Sorry not to be more help,
I suffer from a L535, bought to be used as a cheap exercise logger,
but it doesn't count steps,
or at least didn't in the supplied Msoft Health,
so now it is just used as a podcast player/ wet weather point'n'shoot camera,
so am not trying to maintain a flagship or main phone in sparkling performance. -

Do you measure the width required then cut the tape on the roll? I.e. Use a craft knife to cut down through enough layers that will give you the length you need?

This explains things a bit betterer.

I do it like this, but using whatever bit of scrap wood I have that's the correct thickness.

this is driving me mental now...
I've created a new account with a new email address @mydomianname.co.uk and added it to my android phone using gmail; it works fine. Then use the same settings on Emma's windows phone and... nada.
this should not be happening!
I've looked through aawp - can't find anything there. run out of google juice for this problem.
Even downloaded another email app, mail.ru, on with W10 phone - didn't work either.

FWIW, the boxes I have ticked are "Outgoing server requires authentication" and "Use the same username and password for sending email"
Is it possible that the server wants you to use weird ports? There isn't a setting on the WP10 mail app, but you might be able to force it with things like imap.clara.net:143 and relay.clara.net:25 or whatever numbers match your SSL on/off switch.
As a work round,
can you access the email account via a web browser?
