I got a pair of Tenn PU overshoes like these as a stopgap until something fancy came up in January sale but I won't bother with anything else. Ridden them in the rain, through puddles, muddy shit strewn roads and they've kept my feet warm and dry all winter. I'm pleasantly surprised by them.
For reference, I wear size 49 bont riots and bought the 12-13 which fit them nicely.

Looking for a holdall style bag for weekend/week long trips.
Needs to be small enough to take as hand luggage for flights, but big enough to pack plenty in.
Any recommendations?

Been very happy with a North face base camp duffle I got a few years ago. It's more expensive now than it was but its held up really well.

cheers! they look nice but possibly a little 'sporty' for what i'm looking for. Something made of leather or wool or similar would be nice.

USPS question.
Package in question's tracking is here:
https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?qtc_tLabels1=LZ539358588US
It reckons that the package landed in UK on 27th and then was delivered on 31st after a few different UK facilities. However I have not received it. Is this normal? Does the delivered status actually mean it's been delivered to Royal Mail and I'm now waiting for some sort of import fees notification or something (it's a 2nd hand watch and should hopefully be labelled as such), or have I been fucked by Royal Mail?

Have a look at Scaramanga for leather ones. I've got a few of their bags and they're good quality

If you don't mind the weight, Filson, or Chapman if you want to keep it local to UK.

I have a Filson and, although it makes me a cunt, it is actually a very durable and practical bag. Fits carry on. Comfortable over shoulder or hand held. More spacious than it looks etc.

Garmin 500 can be found cheap 2nd hand, since it's out of production (200 can do it too)

Are there adjustable clip on clips that can mount ø22.2 aero extensions to a ø22.2 base bar?
My base bar has weird bends and angles so I can't use normal perpendicular clips... -

Hi everyone,
N00b question on road doubles. So common chainring combos are 53/39, 52/38, 50/34 and 'cyclocross' 46/36. Some manufacturers would also use 48/34 (came stock on my AWOL for example). Here's the question - what defines which combo can or cannot be used? I'm thinking of using double with 34/32 inner and would like to understand if 46/44/42 can be used as an outer?
Thanks

BCD or bolt circle diameter defines the max and min rings - generally. If you have less than 38t on the small ring you probably have 110 bcd.

The distance between the bolts, usually measured as the bolt circle diameter or bcd, determine what size rings you can use. The other factor is availability, i.e. who produces what chainrings to match the bcd your cranks have.
Most front derailleurs can handle a variance of 16 teeth between the outer and inner rings.
Added: FWIW, I think the smallest chainring you can get for 110 bcd cranks is 33 teeth.
I'm not sure there is such a thing as a fully waterproof overshoe - least not that I have found.
I've been using neoprene Shimano / Pro Tarmac for the last 4 years, and I'd buy them again were it not for the fact that it looks like Shimano may've stopped making them. There are a few to be had here and there, but most regular stockists appear to have Ø stock.
ETA I wouldn't expect to get much more than 1 season's use out of them, before they develop terminal disassembly.
