Recommendations for the cord/string/twine for drawstrings on outdoor clothing?

Just reclaimed my most visible, (but not hi-vis) stormproof jacket from Summer storage
and
the hood drawstring has aged into a lengthier string of tiny, (no doubt understrength) 'sausages' with no elasticity.

If you want elasticity, ask your local outdoors shop for shockcord. If you're happy without elasticity, paracord.

I've just seen a courier on a carbon disc braked road frame with risers but had stickers covering any logos.
It was all black/carbon coloured with a white crest shaped headtube logo. Any idea what it could be?
I thought planet X but can't find any similar on their site.
Edit: I realise there are hundreds of frames like this. I'm more wondering what brand the logo belongs to but I know its vague/hopeless
