Theft from someone else's bag or John Lewis.
Alternatively neat use of tape.

Eh? No, one of my PAC bags is missing its webbing clip.
For anyone who's curious, they're the 50mm ones...

John Lewis
Can't find any webbing stuff on their site.
Neat? Tape? Does not compute.

your arse in tatters always comes to mind whatever you are posting about these days
-
• #80158
Found them - but they are all the 25mm ones. Is that any good - or did you need one for the main 50mm strap?
-
• #80159
Ace! I've been looking for a replacement for my Ortlieb Bag for ages.
-
• #80160
It will be my legacy to the world.
-
• #80161
50mm but thanks for looking.
-
• #80162
Do you need 50mm? I could buy a pack and distribute to other clip losers.
-
• #80163
Yes, two.
But alas: Location == Germany. So distribution hassle would possibly trump the costs of just buying it myself.
-
• #80164
Unless I get a TCR entry, survive TABR enough to make it to the start and ride through Germany throwing them at you as I pass.
Hmm, yeah, probably better off getting them yourself unless you have plans to visit London town?
-
• #80165
In may. My girlfriend very much wants to see a certain musical.
It'll probably be smarter to buy myself, though the prospects of handing you a bottle of "proper beer" in exchange for the clips while you power through Germany on the remains of your arse, are tempting.

• #80166
A multitude of jubilee clips, well two should do.
-
• #80167
You can get them from ExtremTextil.de as well
-
• #80168
Good point.
Just a fat decent one done tight enough.

Recommendations for the cord/string/twine for drawstrings on outdoor clothing?
Just reclaimed my most visible, (but not hi-vis) stormproof jacket from Summer storage
and
the hood drawstring has aged into a lengthier string of tiny, (no doubt understrength) 'sausages' with no elasticity. -
• #80170
If you want elasticity, ask your local outdoors shop for shockcord. If you're happy without elasticity, paracord.

I've just seen a courier on a carbon disc braked road frame with risers but had stickers covering any logos.
It was all black/carbon coloured with a white crest shaped headtube logo. Any idea what it could be?
I thought planet X but can't find any similar on their site.
Edit: I realise there are hundreds of frames like this. I'm more wondering what brand the logo belongs to but I know its vague/hopeless -
• #80172
Nevermind, found it
Planet X XLS in the old plain colourway -
• #80173
I love that people still do that stickers over the logo trick.
The thieves will never know!
-
• #80174
Many thanks,
knew someone would know the correct terms. -

I'd do it because because why advertise for some bike company while riding around?
Give me the bike, then we'll talk about being a roaming billboard.
