Suggest me some better bolts for my cleats.
I'm tired of rounded sockets and seized bolts. For winter use! -

a) a decent 1" aheadset (not C King money though please)
b) a reasonably priced single speed rear wheel 120mm OLNthanks

Presumably Shimano, not the old square 4-bolt/110 Zipp cranks :)

Thanks for confirming the size bolt required.
Noticed one of the spd bolts was missing from the spd cleats on my Aldi/Lidl mtb shoes.
(Noticed when I couldn't unclip.
Cue minor hilarity as I had to slip foot out of shoe to manhandle softroad bike over steel bar/post 'fence' either side of 'kissing gate' on recently resurfaced Council footpath.
Luckily, I had installed my Clas Ohlson end-of-lined Wellgo removable spd pedals, so at the end of the ride the shoe could be fairly easily removed from the pedal).Son walks past LBS on way to school. Asked him to pop in and see if they had any replacement bolts, or at a pinch a cheap set of replacement spd cleats.
Forgot in this outer north west London suburb, LBS, is a Specialised Concept store.
Son returned home with two negatives;
1) no spare spd cleat bolts
2) only spd cleats in stock were S-Works at £60 a pair. Was about to post the question of where to source replacement spd cleat bolts,
so thanks again. -

so thanks again
Don't thank me yet, I haven't actually checked whether standard countersunk screws will work. Original Shimano SPD cleat screws have a funny shaped head. The thread and length I gave are right (maybe 12mm instead of 10mm length for some shoes, the OE Shimano ones I measured are 11mm).

Not all countersunk screws are created equal. The Accu ones I have here look as though they will be fine as a substitute for the funny shaped Shimano screws with Shimano cleats, but they will be about 0.2mm proud of the OE screw position when substituting Wellgo screws (about which there is nothing funny) in Wellgo cleats. That might be enough to allow the screw head to interfere with the pedal body on some pedal variants. This could make engagement impossible, or (worse) it could allow engagement but prevent release. Check for proper function before setting out!

Thanks for the warning.
Will pop into Orbital Fastenings, ('tween Rickmansworth & Watford),
whose catalogue shows A2 countersunk head hex bolts,
(then omits Torx) but does feature resisTorx.
You could maybe bodge one in on the loop of outer, depending on your frame's braze ons?
