All good 👍🏼
Have a look at the audiovisual section of hotukdeals.com. There are some Samsung 4ks around the £400 mark which will do just fine.

No. That's the 7000 series. Mine is the 9000:

Essentially their flagship 2015 set (£3k when new last year...!)
Here it is "in situ":

Yonderland. Fucking awesome.

I just watched that trailer. I now look remarkably like the guy in the screen cap.
WTF???
This is why I don't watch television.

Need to find a venue for our Christmas party in Islington - around 60 people, preferably one where we can bring our own booze/caterers. Any suggestions?

We've had a work thing in Rowans Bowling before....
-
• #79694
I think that will be tough. As most will want to supply food/drink. You could always ask St. Mary's. Otherwise although it's not the most salubrious
Rowans does = good night (and has good transport links)There used to be a music venue just off Highbury roundabout which might also be worth a look, if it's not flats yet.
The Big Chill kings X also has a low min alcohol spend.

However they seem to be against weddings and bdays so not sure what that is about...worth asking I guess.
Go for Westbourne Community Centre for a soulless party venue...

Holdsworth sold up and Planet-X bought the name.
As far as I know they're bang average generic frames with Holdsworth decals on them.

Since my frame's seat pin area is a bit warped meaning I can't tighten my seatpost up properly - though the ovalised tubing has stopped it going too far down - and its going in for a quick welding job shortly I was wondering whether fitting a grub screw would be a plausible option.
Obviously it wouldn't be optimal, but its a bit of a rat etc.
So what would I search for and where would I find, the block I would need welded to the seat tube that houses the grub screw?
I've googled threaded steel block but the issue is I need it fairly soon and hence would like to get it in a shop.

If you are intent on following that route, just weld a nut to the tube.

Weld nuts are a thing, not sure where you'd get CrMo ones which would be ideal for welding to a bike but with the right filler rod you can weld stainless steel to bike tube, and I know where to get stainless weld nuts
I think they are actually thicker than the grub screw boss I had brazed onto one of my frames (from new, not a post hoc fix)for the same purpose. Of course, with a few basic tools (hacksaw, drill, tap, files) you could make a nicer grub screw boss from scrap.

Yeah, but was thinking that a nut wouldn't have as much purchase on the bolt - especially when filled down to have some curvature - than something a more specific in design. That said, upon inspection of the B&Q website they're more appropriate than I had thought.
^ @mdcc_tester
Thanks, glad to hear its plausibility coming from you.
Weld nuts are a thing
Will be asking around for weld nuts in the local shops tomorrow.

One day I will have a nice tap and die set but today is not that day.
Upon looking at some examples of grub screw 'seatpins' and their widths would basically any of these be suitable (provided they're steel) with regard to their widths/amount of thread (especially since I would file off about 2/3mm in the middle to get the curvature - should I bother?)?
Thanks Tim, appreciate it and they look legit - I remember seeing something about absurdly thin that TV is when it came out - but not for me at the mo. Still have a bathroom to get in ahead of baby due in 3 months along with associated baby clobber so will probably do an interest free thing through john lewis/similar in a month or two. Just fishing for research purposes at the mo.
