by spinning the hub you can increase or decrease the tension of the Kevlar

to be fair, when I kept on turning it to see what happened, the kevlar was pulled away from the flange of the hub a bit. It might actually of been doing something

thx for the explanation , i am currently doing what @edscoble said, shorter stem and adapting myself , probably does not help that the frame is too big.
