Can I put a fatter chain on my fixed gear bike? - For example I know that Charge bikes use the same wider chain width as that of BMX's.

I have some sort of Campagnolo crankset (originally used with a geared bike), and the sprocket that came with my flip flop hub which is designed for fixed gear and i think is meant to have a wider chain.

anyone know anything about a geoffrey butler frame - looks recent enough to me - says 'compact' on it - think it had pannier / mudguard fitings on it so maybe designed as audax / tourer?
