So I'm putting some gears on my sliding dropout kona,

• #70432
Did you have the guards pretty close to the tyres?
-
• #70433
Around 10mm clearance around all part of the tyre, like I said, it did catch/rub but didn't affect braking or guards in a detrimental way.

-
• #70436
That looks like Torx, probably T30 or T25, and the thread will be M6 or M5.

Smallest/most foldable repair stand?
-
• #70443
How do you define a hhsb poser from any other ?
I guess what I should of asked was, are they worthwhile for town use? I've heard mixed reviews.
-
• #70444
Aerospoks are an expensive choice for that.
They don't function better than normal spoked wheels, you can't true them and they're a highly-visible thief magnet.
-
• #70445
Better for rad skidz yo.
-
• #70446
Just go to Seabass Cycles in Peckham not camberwell as that's Cole Coatings workshop and talk to him in person. Or just call 02076356363, that's their paint shop number
-
• #70447
Ah. I was under the impression that they never need trued. This making them good for town cycling. But then because they don't warp, they snap.
-
• #70448
Thank you. Mario Vaz got the job.

• #70449
So I had a weird puncture yesterday - a rougly 5mm gauge broken screw, yes a screw, went straight into the back wheel, as a result the trye now has a sort of a hole through all the layers. The trye is only about 5 months old so I would really rather not buy a trye yet, if I pump some strong glue into the hole from the inside, could I get away with using the trye for a bit longer?

boot it with a bit of plastic wrapper from the inside to stop the tube poking out. It will be fine.
I think the issue will be that it'll be 5-8mm too far outboard, and you might not get use of all gears. Not sure about the angle.
