To make them look more Spanish? 🙂

I know, it’s really annoying. You have to pay more for the plain ones! Look for a ‘Fouriers’ branded one. Same chainring but far more discrete branding.

Funny you ask this as I'm thinking about doing something similar in my motorcycle as a small storage compartment.

How much heat does red lock tight need to undo?
I want to put a thread in this hole, but there's not enough meat to thead and don't have a rivnut tool. So I wanted to use a bolt with an internal thread a la
... but I don't want the bolt coming undone, so red thread lock seems sensible. But if I fuck it up or want to remove it, I don't want to be blowtorching that area.My other thought now I have a drill press is to use a regular bolt and split rings to remove the storage box.

What has happened to Chipotle in UK supermarkets? It's impossible to find any Chipotle sauce of any description? I used to really like Tabasco Chipotle on breakfast stuff...

Great question, I was trying to find some today in Sainsbury's. Couldn't see it anywhere.
If anyone has a source of chipotle, please hit us up

I don't know how their chipotle sauce is but Weymouth 51 make great chili sauces.

Red is sort of permanent, so lots of heat.

I've not tried it but it'd be my guess that hot glue won't adhere to polypropylene or polyethylene.
The only way (IME) to get either of the above to stick together is to use a polyolefin primer which alters the molecular structure of the surface. I successfully used this method and cyanoacrylate to extend my tool tube to being double ended - to increase capacity as well as make it easier to access the contents. It's reasonably heavy (around 700g) and has been bounced down the road on a number of occasions without the bond failing.

without the bond failing
That's a bond layer which is mainly being sheared isn't it? A very different situation from the straight pull you get when something is trying to cantilever itself off a vertical surface,

Absolutely. Albeit that the material is flexible, it won't be 100% in shear when subjected to impact. The difference is, I think, probably negligible .

Reach? Lever reach.
-
• #124894
I don't want to know what you call it, I want you to get your ruler out and measure it, specifically from a vertical plane tangent to the handlebar to the most forward point of the lever hood, in a horizontal direction.

I have managed to inspect my drains and rod them. The rods and the handles to lift the cover will cost much less than a plumber.
Even if you fuck up like I did earlier this year when I dropped the cover from the septic tank into the tank itself and also then have to buy a new cover!

What’s the deal with the crazy 3mm allen bolts on thomson stems (specifically my x2)? Are they known to be made of cheese? where can I buy spares? or should I instead buy the x2 in the classifieds in order to have a set of spare bolts and a faceplate? It is 10mm the wrong length but still.
Solved with big washers or a piece of wood to fasten through?
