@tommmmmmm dunno who makes them but decathlon are huge in france so often the own brand stuff is rebranded decent stuff. Isn't hard to be as good as a kalloy one.

I forgot about Decathlon, and somehow I'd forgotten about On One seatposts as well despite having just been looking for a stem there. Thanks all.
@doppelkorn that was one of the first things I noticed as well, I had to check the reviews before continuing. Funny how some of them are staff answers to questions which have led to their own products showing poor reviews.

why are the numbers different sizes when you type posts but all the same size everywhere else?
-
• #64956
On mine (Chrome on Windows 7) I see what looks like the same font in the posts and the edit box. Might not be the same for yours.

High-quality typesetting generally prefers text figures in body text: they integrate better with lowercase letters and small capitals, and their greater variety of shape facilitates reading. They help accomplish consistent typographic colour in blocks of text, unlike runs of lining figures, which can distract the eye. (Such a distraction may be desired when numbers are to stand out, for example in scientific text.) Lining figures are called for in all-capitals settings (hence the alternative name titling figures), and may work better in tables and spreadsheets.

So it's to makes the numbers fit in better with the letters. Got it. And page numbers and post numbers aren't part of bodies of text so they are all the same size. Still, I think it looks odd. -

Put a 10 speed sram quick link on my 11 speed shimano chain.
Seemed to work so far, any danger to using the wrong quick link? @mdcc_tester?
My 11 speed quick link doesn't work with the shimano chain for some reason.

If I order from bike24 and pay via paypal will paypal convert to £ from € or will paypal take € from my bank and then they add on some charges for being shit like that?

Step slowly and carefully away from the bike. I've informed the relevant authorities who should be around shortly to carry out a controlled explosion to avoid serious harm to the surrounding areas.

If memory serves correct, I think paypal converts it and charges you in £. With a shitty conversion rate.

Would it work to run an 8 speed dura ace 7400 group with modern 9 speed tiagra brifters?

My work doesn't have cyclescheme or anything - instead we are offered an interest free loan of £500, which no one ever takes up and HR therefore feel justified in not offering us anything more.

Hollandbike looks like the only place that sells them individually online
I have a 177 in 42cm, it measures 41.2(ish) wide (c to c) where the ramps begin to drop. I also have a 135 (the one that flares out from the base of the drops to the ends), it's around 34 wide, measured the same way.
I'd also like to sell either or both, along with appropriate brake levers.
