I have mavic cosmic carbone wheel with a dura ace sprocket however there is some movement in the sprokets on the spline- I suspect I need spacers. It's almost 6pm so that rules out Condor. Anywhere else stock such a thing within central?

Please and thank you...
Does anyone have a set of rollers they wouldn't mind lending me for a week - a fortnight?
I'm looking to buy some but I wanna try a set out and see if they're for me or not.
I can collect, pay a rental fee/deposit/buy you beer etc
Thanks in advance. -

I'm struggling to get my Sora RD and Deore trigger shifters set up correctly. Is there a ratio difference between MTB shifters and road derailleurs? On the stand she shifts fine put in real world pedaling scenarios there is constant slippage through the entire range of 9 cogs.
Doing my nut in!

Currently in a Spanish villa with an old Fridge, which is currently not cold enough.
The dial inside the fridge goes 0 - 5. Am I to assume 5 is the coldest setting, as 0 is 'Off'?...

9 speed Shimano road shifters and 9 speed Shimano MTB shifters pull the same amount of cable.
10 speed Shimano Road shifters and 10 speed Shimano MTB shifters pull different amounts of cable.

Search for 'photography' - this comes up (amongst other things)

Any old steel fabricator should be able to remove a braze-on from a steel rack and reposition it reasonably straight, right? How much is such a simple job likely to cost?

Rule 1: don't post your own bike in Bike Porn.

Stronglight Dural, £24 for both:

http://www.spacycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m2b2s149p292Zicral, £53, worth it if you're going to keep them long enough to wear them out as the Zicral ones last more than twice as long as the Dural

I live in a 1st and 2nd floor flat.
Our virgin media cable comes in through the front wall into the lounge.
The office at the back of the house gets a terrible wifi connection. The newer virgin routers I've had have all had crap signal strength (the old d-link based ones were OK).
I've got one of these that extends the signal quite well, http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00794RDVY/
Powerline plugs can also, it seems, work. In my flat I managed to connect to the powerline plugs of a house two doors down.

I tried UTFS, but anyone know of a site which has catch-up of the full TdF stages? Want to have a look at some of the early bits of stage 2 that I missed.

The office at the back of the house gets a terrible wifi connection. What is the best way to get a cable back there?
Is there anything wrong with buying a 200m long ethernet cable and routing it round the external of the house and into the office at the back?LIDL are selling a pretty decent Wifi range extender that just plugs into a mains socket and acts as a repeater. You will lose some bandwidth on the extended network as it isn't duplexed but for most uses it should be fine or even unnoticeable.
Think they go on sale this week...check their web site.

<<<<<< I love it, best combo for slippery winter conditions. Especially if you have risers and can fit a cheap (but good) hydraulic like a Shimano SLX
-
• #61699
I was thinking compact drops + Hy/Rd. And maybe risers for winter commuting...
-
• #61700
Seem as soon as you go hy/rd you may as well go Hylex. £95 for hy/rd (plus cable, plus lever) vs £130 for Hylex
Cheers gents. I was looking to buy a pair to take up to Yorkshire. There was a pina dogma to use. I went' with gazelles in the end.
