  • didn't dimi's garmin one snap while he was riding along? my official £30 garmin one the bolt pulled through the plastic as I was doing it up rendering it useless.

  • your flimsy

  • best out-front garmin mount. go.
    k-edge, sram, garmin, raceware? barfly?

BarFly 2.0 has been good to me so far.

    Don't you have a Finger Torque Wrench™?

  • barfly 2.0 broke 2 of my garmins (510 and 800 which garmin replaced no questions asked); its a known issue; someone on weight weeneis called it 'achilles tendon of garmin'

basically the plastic that its made of is too hard for the soft plastic that garmins are made out of; sram is working for me but garmin is the best IMO

Dimi broke barfly; 3D printed mounts can >>>>>>>>>>

    I've never used K-edge.

  • Garmin one allows you to rotate the mount so you can use Forerunners, if that's important in any way.

  • Hippy why do you have 2.0? I thought you had 6770 with external battery .. arent 2.0 made for the internal battery junctionbox?

it was nowhere near done up yet. the plastic was just shit.

  • Why has the delectable Gizzi Erskine NEVER had a decent BBC/C4 television vehicle? She's wasted on shitty ITV gameshows and morning telly

  • I like my k-edge garmin mount, it's adjustable so you can have it as close to the bars as you want but most importantly it's absolutely solid, I can use it to lift up my bike.

    You're speaking in tongues.

BarFly 2.0 is for Garmin 800s (or 500s I think, if you use the closer hole). What's Di2 got to do with it? Got to do with it..

    Did you mean Dammit?

  • Garmin mounts are made of cheese. Both my delightful 'quick release' ones are now operated very slowly and in fact released with a compass because the wee shitty plastic lever snapped off.

  • I've the possibility of a free Etape entry.

My longest ride this year has been about 120km with 1400m climbing. I wanted to be euthanised afterwards.

    Should I take it?

  • Yes, if only to read your post-ride write up.

As of 2011, she lives in Hackney, East London with her boyfriend of seven years.

  • Does anyone know why I'm getting an "Untrusted Connection" page when I attempt to visit Gmail? None of my browsers allow me to visit it. It's on the work computer so people shouldn't have visited anything dodgy. I have run a virus check and it came up blank.

It's not essential but it is tedious and I don't like things like this.

There may be a transparent proxy server at your work that is terminating your SSL connection and then proxying off the request to gmail. Check the certificate that you are getting when attempting to visit gmail for more details.

Also worth checking what gmail resolves to. Many workplaces will change popular sites to be that of internal servers for 'security' reasons - so that they can monitor your activity.

  • What barend plugs could I use for very small diameter bars?
the plugs that came with the bartape (and the ones that came with two other sets of bartape I had laying around) wouldn't fit.
Any suggestions? Black would be preferred...

    • or ask someone with a lathe and a suitable offcut of nylon / acetal / polywhatever bar ?
  • Yes, if only to read your post-ride write up.

Well, if a man I've never met gives me that kind of advice on the internet I suppose I should....

  • If you work in a building (A) that butts up against another building (B), and they're doing extensive work on building B including loads of jackhammering that we've recorded at over 90 decibels, do we have any recourse to tell them to eff off or is that just life?

  • I'm pretty sure they are obliged to minimise disruption to outside core hours if its not a residential area, but I guess you'll need to call the council chaps and ask what your zone is.

  • Got to wait till later on to find out if I've got it or not.

What the fuck have i done?

  • You're on a roll today bothwell, chapeau.

And I will most definitely not be smashing anything up unless its my hotel room in a fit hallucinogenic night terrors inspired by the sight of a thousand mammils chasing me, sweaty moobs flapping in the baking hot wind....

(silently praying someone the dude knows takes it off him instead)
